Light My Fire By: Christie Rideway

(N) This is the first book in the Rock Royalty series, the name Rock Royalty comes from the Rolling Stones magazine who years ago named the nine children of the most famous rock band in the world 'Rock Royalty.' Now these nine princes and princesses of rock are all grown up and moving back to L.A. the catch is that none of them really communicate with each other even with their own siblings themselves.
Cilla Maddox the youngest of the Rock Royalty is back in the old home she grew up in trying to organize the costume collection that Gwen, the nine's caregiver left her when she passed on. One morning Cilla wakes up to find Ren Colson, another one of the Rock Royalty sharing her bed. Cilla comes up with a plan to make Ren someone that she's always wanted hers.
Ren is back in L.A. leaving his home and business behind in London and going home for a few days after Gwen died. Ren wasn't expecting to find Cilla in their old home when he came back home nor did he expect to find her as a bed mate when he awoke the next morning. The last time Ren saw Cilla she was just a young teenager, years younger than him but now she's all grown up and making it very hard for Ren to think straight. Ren knows that Cilla deserves better than the man he is but cannot seem to help himself in the slightest to stay away from her.
I found that this book was just okay, not good not great but just okay. But if this book does sound like something you would want to read then give it a shot. I can only speak for myself when I say that this book was just not for me.

Fallen Fourth Down By:Tijan

(N) This is the fourth book in the Fallen Crest Series and it's another hit for Tijan.  There were so many twists and turns throughout the book that you don''t know what to expect. The biggest twist of all comes towards the end of the book and the drama is only just beginning when this story ends and we have to wait for the next book in the series to see what happens next.
Mason and Nate are leaving both Sam and Logan behind at Fallen Crest High and are off at college. Mason is now living in a house with the rest of the football team and Nate is living in a house with his fraternity brothers, something he is doing to try and branch out and away from Mason. Things go haywire when Nate's fraternity President, Sebastian wants Mason as a best friend and Mason wants nothing to do with him.
Sam has been distancing herself from Logan since Tate told her that Logan was in love with her at the end of the last book. Sam knows that if she tells Mason the truth than there's a good chance that Mason will choose Logan over Sam and she will be left all alone once again. That is because Sam knows that Mason will never let another girl come between him and Logan again.
Along with keeping this mess from Logan and Mason there's new drama on the horizon for this Fearsome Threesome. An old acquaintance comes back from Sam's past and begins enrolling Fallen Crest Academy. Logan is always off with his girlfriend and when she's not with him she's annoying Sam whether around school or during cross country practice. Mason and Nate's friendship are put to the test when Sebastian won't be denied with having Mason as a friend. And Marissa is back in the picture going to school with Nate and Mason and stirring things up for Sam and Mason's relationship.
This is was yet another hit in the series and one that I would not suggest skipping out on.

Rush Too Far By: Abbi Glines

(N) I know this review is really late considering how long this book has been out but I had to wait until the library would finally give it to me because I was not spending $8 on this book on Amazon now matter how good. At $8 I would be better off just buying the paperback version even though I have all the other books in the series on ebook instead.
We read Blaire's point of view in Fallen Too Far of how her and Rush's romance began and now it's his turn. Rush has a reputation for being a bad boy and has earned every bit of that reputation, sleeping with one girl after another and not giving a s*** about anything other than his brother Grant and his sister Nan. Then Blaire walks into his life and his beach house and this rock star's son life completely changes.
Blaire has live a completely different life than Rush's. Rush has money, a luxury car, a life of girls wanting to be with him, and the envy of all guys at Rosemary Beach. Meanwhile Blaire's been living the country live taking care of her sick mother at home and driving around in a beat-up old pickup truck. When her mother dies and Blaire moves to Rosemary to be with the only family she has left she captures the attention of Rush Finley, someone who vows to keep his distance from an innocent angelic beauty such as Blaire although everything in him just wants to be with her.
Rush has every reason to stay away from Blaire considering he's the reason her father walked out of her and her mother so many years ago and why now she's all alone. And he knows that if he gets to close to her it would destroy one of the few people he cares about, Nan, who has her own connection to Blaire. With all of these things working against him Rush still cannot help but want to be with Blaire.
In the end it turns out that saving my money turned out to be a good thing. I have been in love with this series since the beginning and could not wait until this book came out. We were finally going to be able to see things from Rush's point of view. With that being said it took me forever to finish this book which I was really upset about. I don't know if it was because with this book I was reading the paperback and with the others in the series they were all on Kindle or what but this book just took me forever to finish. All with taking so long this book really wasn't what I thought it would be.

Noah By: Elizabeth Reyes

(N) This is the first book in the 5th Street Book series and was yet another book that I got for free on Amazon and by now I've noticed a pattern with free books from Amazon. I either hate the book and don't even try to finish it or I love the book and then have to contemplate on if I should get the next book in the series and continue on from there. In the case of this book Noah it was the latter, although there were times when I skimmed through a few pages for the most part I read the whole thing and enjoyed it.
Veronica Cruz, a.k.a Roni to all her friends has been through more than her fair share of sorrows. Roni's been away from the world for two years taking care of her dying mother she now's unemployed single, after he boyfriend left her not being able to deal with all that's going on in her life,  overweight, and feeling older than her twenty-eight years. When her best friend Nellie get two tickets for a weeks worth of free training she coaxes Roni to come along with her to get her out of her depression and make Roni start feeling better about herself. There she meets Noah her assigned trainer and someone who supports and motivates Roni to become better. Noah is everything Roni as every wanted in a guy he's respectful, good looking, loyal, and close to his friends and extended family. There is just one problem, Noah's eight years younger than Roni and the last thing she expected was that he would fall in love with her.
Noah Quintanilla has his eye on a boxing title but due to an injury he's been out for a few months and he's finally getting the opportunity to train someone something he's been waiting for for a long time. The problem is his trainee is an out of shape woman with a free pass for a week. Noah's job is to get her to want to come back after her free week is up and then he can become a full-time trainer at the gym. Somewhere along the way Noah stumbles into one of the closest friendships that he's ever had and before he knows what to do he's fallen in love. But Roni wants nothing to do with having an intimate relationship with Noah not when the age difference between them is so big. But being friends with Roni means watching other guys put the move on her and not being able to speak up about it, something that is driving him crazy. Noah sets out to prove to Roni that age isn't anything but just a number and that he is who she should be with.

Zeus By: Kamery Solomon

(N) This is the first book in The God Chronicles series, I got this book for free from Amazon so I wasn't really expecting much from it but it's nice to say that I was pleasantly surprised with how good this book actually was.
Zeus has been banished from Mount Olympus by the Gods and the Fates for nine years after breaking his vows with his wife Hera and sleeping around behind her back. Zeus will have to live on Earth with no way of getting home, no way to contact the other Gods, and will not be able to use any of his powers. The only way to return home and have his powers returned to him is for Zeus to fall in love with a mortal girl and for her to love him back with all of her heart.
Karly has just moved out of her parent's house and is now on her way to Vegas to go to art school. Vegas is never where Karly imagined being with parents like hers who made her watch endless CSI episodes and put in into her head that that's what going to happen to her if she leaves. On a night out with her roommates Karly meet Zeus Drakos. Zeus is the owner of a new hit casino and resort which interior is based off of Mount Olympus. And when Karly first meets Zeus she thinks that he is kind of a jerk but as time goes on the two begin to grow closer.
Like I said this book was a surprisingly good read and something that I would definitely want to read again. Although there may be some time before I begin reading the rest of the series I would for sure recommend this book for anyone to read.
