Captivated By You By: Sylvia Day

(N) This is book 4 in the Crossfire series, Gideon and Eva are officially married although only a select few know that the just of the world believes that they just got engaged. Gideon is still trying to solve all the problems and future problems himself without ever including Eva even when he should. And there is more than one situation which can affect Gideon and Eva's relationship.
At the beginning of the series I loved these books but after the second book things started to go down. This series was supposed to be a trilogy but instead more books were added and I think that is what became this series downfall. Don't get me wrong there were some good parts to this book but for the most part the stuff in here were just fill ins in order to get to the next book. But there was one thing that I did like about this story and it was that this time the story was also told from Gideon's perspective and see why he does what he does in terms of keeping things from Eva. If you are a fan and plan on reading this book than go ahead and if you do not feel like reading this, you are not missing much.

Echos on Scotland Street By: Samantha Young

(N) This is book five in the On Dublin Street series and this book focuses on the relationship between Cole and Shannon. We first met Cole in Down London Road when he was just fourteen now it is years later and he is the manager of a tattoo shop.
Shannon has always been attracted to the wrong kind of men and they have always screwed her over in one form or another. After going from one bad relationship to the next Shannon no longer wants anything to do with bad boys, and this conclusion came in the worst possible way.
When Shannon first sees Cole she knows that he is exactly what she should stay away from. He's gorgeous, charming, tattooed, and cocky all the qualities that Shannon is trying to avoid. But Shannon can't look past Cole's bad boy exterior and see that on the inside Cole is really just a good guy who is looking for his "one" and Cole is determined to be with Shannon.
When Shannon finally begins to open her heart and trust Cole her past comes back to haunt her and soon she doesn't know what to do. The feelings that Shannon holds close to her could destroy all the hope for her and Cole's relationship.
It's funny I did not really have high hopes for this book after reading the last one but I have to say that I was impressed. I managed to finish this book in two days because I just could not put it down and only ended up doing so because of the late hour. Although there were some serious things going on throughout the book there were other times when this book had me laughing out loud. This book got me back into the series, and wanting to find out what the next book in the series will be about.

Falling Down (Rockstar #1) By: Anne Mercier

(N) This is book one in the Rockstar series. Lucy has had a crush on him since she was twelve years old and it isn't until she's seventeen until she meets him in person. Now at the age of twenty-three she is working alongside her best friend/'sister' as one of the two actresses in his band's latest music video single.
Jesse Kingston is a temptation that is hard to resist. As much as Lucy doesn't want to be involved with him it becomes hard to just do a job and not want to take Jesse home with her. There is no avoiding Jesse not when he always makes his presence known and makes some not so innocent touches. When it comes to avoiding Jesse Kingston there is no avoiding him and soon Lucy doesn't want to anymore.
Then Jesse proposes a weekend together, one weekend and if after that she wants nothing to do with him then that will be it. So Lucy agrees and give into the fantasy that she has wanted for a long time. But once the weekend is over neither is really willing to give it up.
This book did have some slow parts but for the most pat was a good book worth reading.

Poles Apart By: Kirsty Moseley

 (N) I fell in love with this book right from the beginning and could not put it down. At the end of every chapter I just wanted to continue reading to find out what happens next. Emma Bancroft is a part-time lap dancer trying to makes ends meet. Emma is only eighteen and has to take care of her two year old daughter and her fifteen year old brother as well as herself. When Emma became pregnant her parents no longer wanted anything to do with her and kicked her out so Emma's brother left and joined her. Emma did whatever she could to make ends meet.
Carson Matthews, is the hottest driver to ever hit the MotoGP circuit. He lives a carefree celebrity lifestyle completely different than the lifestyle that Emma lives. Carson has little worry in his life, he only worries about staying at the top of the leader board. On weekends Carson likes to go to Angels Gentlemen's Club and see a certain dancer when he does.
Carson and Emma have known each other since Emma started working at the club but it was only until recently where things really started to change between the two. It soon becomes harder for Emma to keep a secret that she kept for the last two and a half years.
I have to give this book a huge thumbs up because it kept me wanting more with each passing chapter. And the only thing I was disappointed about was when it was over cause the book just seemed to fly by and was over before I knew it.
