Her Russian Protector Books 1-3 By: Roxie Rivera

(N) After reading Ivan, the first book in Her Russian Protector Series and liking it so much I thought that I would give the next books in the series a read.  This book set include book 1 (Ivan), 2 (Dimitri), and 3 (Yuri).

DIMITRI
Benny and her brother are the sole owner's of their family bakery. Benny is struggling to make ends meet while her brother could careless and is a member of the violent street gang Hermanos. Benny constantly worries that her brother will either end up in jail or dead. Dimitri their landlord and the guy who lives in the apartment above their bakery is one of the few people that Benny can really count on.
What Benny doesn't know is that Dimitri has had feelings for her for years. When is aggressive property developer want to buy Benny's bakery and she refuses the developer makes it clear that he won't go away without a fight. On top of that Benny's brother is stealing money from her and the bakery and when Benny can no longer take it Dimitri is there to comfort her. To make matters worse Benny's brother is in trouble with the Hermanos and that puts Benny at risk.

YURI
Yuri has had feelings for Lena for a while now but has not yet made a move, this is mostly due to Lena being mad at Yuri for doing things that have affected her job as a PR representative. Lena is not the least bit impressed by Yuri's money and what he can give her. When Lena's father and cousin botch an international art theft operation Lena gets stuck in the crossfire and Yuri is the only one who can help her.

I don't know what happened after Ivan but I just could not get into these next two books in the series.  While I was reading Dimitri about half-way through I was ready for the book to be over with already and began skimming over parts of the story. By the time I finished with Dimitri I was not sure if this series was for me but I continued to read onto the next book and again I was not all that interested in the story. I did finish the story but again I skimmed through most of the book. After reading both Dimitri and Yuri I have decided not to continue on with this series, this series is just not for me.

Ivan By: Roxie Rivera

(N) Ivan is the first book in the Her Russian Protector series, this book is a quick read but sometimes that is all you need and this was definitely one of those times. Rivera was able to make a great story in a little over a hundred pages and yet by the end of the book I was completely satisfied with how it ended and you cannot always say that with these short books.
Erin is desperate to find her sister Ruby after she goes missing. Unable to find Ruby on her own Erin goes to the only man in Houston that she can turn to for help, the one man her friends warn her to stay away from. Ivan Markovic is an intimidating tattooed Russian who owns his own elite martial arts training centers, had a shady past, and has connections to the Russian mob.
This book is quick, free, and worth reading.

Thrust By: Victoria Ashley

(N) On her first night in her new apartment Calla meets Kyan Wilder at the bar on the first floor of her building. Kyan isn't looking for a relationship all he is looking for is just sex and he wants it with Calla. Calla agrees to a just sexual realtionship even though this type of relationship is all new to her. Calla is then reunited with Hunter Wilder a boy she had crush on in high school and hasn't seen in years. When Kyan reminds Calla that she can sleep with whoever she wants that they're not in a relationship she does something that she has wanted to do since high school, sleep with Hunter Wilder. Calla never thought that she would be the type of girl who would sleeps with two different guys let alone those two guys be brothers and soon it becomes to much for her.
Both of these guys are complete opposites Kyan is career focused, rough but can also be gentle when need be and when Calla is with Kyan he pleases her like no other man before. Hunter is a partier he's always looking to have good time and when Calla is with him she is reminded that she doesn't always have to take everything so seriously.
While both brothers say that they are fine with Calla sleeping with the other it that it keeps them both from having to commit to a relationship it soon becomes too much for a girl who never could imagine that this would happen to her.
2 brothers…1 Girl When I first saw this on the cover of the book I thought this story was going to be about two brothers sharing one girl but it was so much more than that. This book had me wanting more with each chapter that I read and there was never a dull moment to be had. This is definitely a book that I would recommend for people to read. I know that like me you will not want to put this book down.

The Immortal Who Loved Me (Argeneau #21) By: Lynsay Sands

(N) This book is the 21st book in the Argeneau series, Sherry Carne didn't believe that vampires actually existed but that all changed when a few rogue immortals entered her store following a young immortal who ran into her office just a few minutes before. While on the run with the young immortal Sherry learns that one of the immortals that is after the rogue immortal may be her life mate. Learning all of this in one day begins to take its toll on Sherry as she begins to feel like everything happening around her is just a dream.
As for her potential life mate Basileios Argeneau he has come to learn that Sherry has qualities that he never expected to have in a life mate, she's outspoken, loud, and stubborn. But the chemistry that they have together and the fact that they experience shared pleasure and he cannot read her makes their match undeniable. But there is something else going on besides an rogue immortal on their tail, Sherry learns that there is a reason why it is hard for some of the immortals to read her mind. Sherry has had an immortal in her life for a long time and has never known.
I have read many books in this series and by now I have come to the conclusion that I either love the book or hate the book. And although I managed to finish this book in one sitting I can have to say that I skipped over a few parts in the book. I think that this book is worth skipping in the series there is not much really going on here that you cannot catch up with in the next coming books.

Revved By: Samantha Towle

 (N) This book had my attention from the beginning, as soon as I finished reading the sample of the book I knew that I would be buying this book to read the whole story. Race car mechanic Andressa a.k.a Andi has grew up around racing and after seeing her father die on the race track Andi made a rule - no dating drivers.
Carrick Ryan is the bad boy of Formula One racing. He is the youngest driver to sign with Formula One and is at the top of his game. Carrick lives life fast on and off the track, he almost always ends a race in the top three and has never been seen with a steady girl before.
When Andi is offered her dream job working as a mechanic for Formula One Andi leaves her home and mom behind in Brazil to become one of Carrick's mechanics. Before meeting Carrick Andi is positive that she can handle him, that is until she meets him and sparks begin to fly. Andi begins to have feelings for the one guy she cannot be with but the one guy she wants to be with.
I managed to finish this book in no time at all because I could not put it down. This book had my attention from the moment it started till when it ended and I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone you will not regret it.
