Cash By: Cassio Leo

Kara can't believe her luck when she lands a job dealing blackjack at the new Billionaire Club in Las Vegas. And it keeps getting better when she meets bad boy Cash Westbrook her first night on the job. Despite the fact that he uses his flirtatious charms to make Kara look slightly incompetent, the $10,000 tip he leaves will go a long way toward paying off her father's gambling debts. So when Kara walks out to the employee parking lot after her shift and finds Cash leaning against her car, she knows she's about to be taken for a wild ride. What she doesn't expect is for him to proposition her after a single one-night stand.
If Kara pretends to be his fiancee and they convince the board at Westbrook Oil that Cash is ready to settle down, she'll get one million dollars. Sounds easy enough, until she quickly finds herself falling for him. And when it comes to love, all bets are off.

I've had Cash in my to read for a while now but I've only recently got the chance to read it. Because up until this point there were other books that I wanted to read first. But once I started reading Cash I didn't want to stop and ended up finishing this book in no time at all.

Becoming His (A King Family #1) By: Ami Van

Derrick King and his brothers are the ruthless heads of a crime family. KINGS. They've built their empire to become what it is today, collecting fortune and power, bending rules and taking over whoever stood in their way. Tall, dark, and sinfully gorgeous, Derrick as the head of the family never went to bed alone yet never slept in a bed with any woman either. Until she came along and becomes the light to his darkness. Now she was his....
Stellina Dane was a chef who moved across the country in search of a change. Sweet and innocent, she meets a tall, brooding stranger in a club of all places. His energy pulls at her and draws her in as much as their easy-going conversations. When his life spills into hers, she should have run. But she didn't...she wanted him. How was she supposed to keep a man like him satisfied and tamed? Plus, she's got secrets of her own that she didn't want him or anyone else to know.

Becoming His started out well enough but as the book progressed I got less and less interested. By the time I reached the forty percent mark in this book I was like 'what's left to happen?' It seemed like so much had happened already and I still had so much more to read. Why I kept reading at this point is beyond me but I did. I read all the way to the end.
Am I happy I continued reading on, not really I could have stopped reading at the forty percent mark and it would have made no difference to me. Needless to say I will not be continuing on with this series.
