Think Outside The Boss

Thinking outside the box resulted in the best night of Freddie's life. Until she discovered the man she spent it with is her new boss.
Attending a secret party where clothes are optional wasn't a life goal of Freddie's. But when the exclusive invitation ends up in her mailbox by accident...well. Who wouldn't be curious? It's not like she going to do anything.
The handsome stranger she meet has different plans. One glance across the crowded party, and an hour later they're stretched out on silk. Their night together is glorious. No names and no regrets.
But she'd forgotten there's always a price to pay for pleasure.
Freddie finds out the cost when she starts her internship. Because who is the new venture capitalist CEO?
Tristan Conway, aka her handsome stranger. Powerful, determined, intriguing...and single. Oh, and he wants to see her in his office.
Thinking outside the box got her into this mess. Now if she could just stop thinking about the boss...

I decided to give Think Outside The Boss a try since it was a free read. In the past I've had both free reads that I loved and ones I couldn't even manage to finish. This one fell closer to the ladder, while I didn't not finish reading I also didn't love it. It was good for about forty percent of it but by the time I started reaching the halfway point I was just ready for the story to be over.

Unspoken By: Sandi Lynn

Her name was Ellie Scott, and she was the most beautiful woman Henry had ever seen. He was speechless the moment she looked at him when her stunning emerald eyes met his. It felt like time had stopped, and suddenly all was right in Henry's disheveled life.
They lived in different worlds. Henry's was a world of hearing, and hers was a world of silence. Yet, despite her being deaf, the chemistry between them was undeniable. But Henry faced two problems: the secret he held and his family.
Henry was born a Walker and came from a family of wealth and status. His parents would never approve of or accept her, and his mother would stop at nothing to keep them apart. They underestimated Henry because he would give up everything to be with her.
Then everything went to hell when his ex-fiancee showed up with some news that threatened to tear them apart.
His life was finally right, and he wouldn't let anyone or anything destroy it.

Sandi recently released a new book so of course I had to read it. Unlike with the last book of hers that I read I enjoyed Unspoken the whole way through. I was really intrigued by the story between Ellie and Henry and never found myself not enjoying what I was reading. It's stories like Unspoken as the reason as to why I keep reading Sandi Lynn's books. Because while I may not like everything she writes, more often than not I find myself enjoying her stories and wanting to read them over and over again.
