Rush Too Far By: Abbi Glines

(N) I know this review is really late considering how long this book has been out but I had to wait until the library would finally give it to me because I was not spending $8 on this book on Amazon now matter how good. At $8 I would be better off just buying the paperback version even though I have all the other books in the series on ebook instead.
We read Blaire's point of view in Fallen Too Far of how her and Rush's romance began and now it's his turn. Rush has a reputation for being a bad boy and has earned every bit of that reputation, sleeping with one girl after another and not giving a s*** about anything other than his brother Grant and his sister Nan. Then Blaire walks into his life and his beach house and this rock star's son life completely changes.
Blaire has live a completely different life than Rush's. Rush has money, a luxury car, a life of girls wanting to be with him, and the envy of all guys at Rosemary Beach. Meanwhile Blaire's been living the country live taking care of her sick mother at home and driving around in a beat-up old pickup truck. When her mother dies and Blaire moves to Rosemary to be with the only family she has left she captures the attention of Rush Finley, someone who vows to keep his distance from an innocent angelic beauty such as Blaire although everything in him just wants to be with her.
Rush has every reason to stay away from Blaire considering he's the reason her father walked out of her and her mother so many years ago and why now she's all alone. And he knows that if he gets to close to her it would destroy one of the few people he cares about, Nan, who has her own connection to Blaire. With all of these things working against him Rush still cannot help but want to be with Blaire.
In the end it turns out that saving my money turned out to be a good thing. I have been in love with this series since the beginning and could not wait until this book came out. We were finally going to be able to see things from Rush's point of view. With that being said it took me forever to finish this book which I was really upset about. I don't know if it was because with this book I was reading the paperback and with the others in the series they were all on Kindle or what but this book just took me forever to finish. All with taking so long this book really wasn't what I thought it would be.

Noah By: Elizabeth Reyes

(N) This is the first book in the 5th Street Book series and was yet another book that I got for free on Amazon and by now I've noticed a pattern with free books from Amazon. I either hate the book and don't even try to finish it or I love the book and then have to contemplate on if I should get the next book in the series and continue on from there. In the case of this book Noah it was the latter, although there were times when I skimmed through a few pages for the most part I read the whole thing and enjoyed it.
Veronica Cruz, a.k.a Roni to all her friends has been through more than her fair share of sorrows. Roni's been away from the world for two years taking care of her dying mother she now's unemployed single, after he boyfriend left her not being able to deal with all that's going on in her life,  overweight, and feeling older than her twenty-eight years. When her best friend Nellie get two tickets for a weeks worth of free training she coaxes Roni to come along with her to get her out of her depression and make Roni start feeling better about herself. There she meets Noah her assigned trainer and someone who supports and motivates Roni to become better. Noah is everything Roni as every wanted in a guy he's respectful, good looking, loyal, and close to his friends and extended family. There is just one problem, Noah's eight years younger than Roni and the last thing she expected was that he would fall in love with her.
Noah Quintanilla has his eye on a boxing title but due to an injury he's been out for a few months and he's finally getting the opportunity to train someone something he's been waiting for for a long time. The problem is his trainee is an out of shape woman with a free pass for a week. Noah's job is to get her to want to come back after her free week is up and then he can become a full-time trainer at the gym. Somewhere along the way Noah stumbles into one of the closest friendships that he's ever had and before he knows what to do he's fallen in love. But Roni wants nothing to do with having an intimate relationship with Noah not when the age difference between them is so big. But being friends with Roni means watching other guys put the move on her and not being able to speak up about it, something that is driving him crazy. Noah sets out to prove to Roni that age isn't anything but just a number and that he is who she should be with.

Zeus By: Kamery Solomon

(N) This is the first book in The God Chronicles series, I got this book for free from Amazon so I wasn't really expecting much from it but it's nice to say that I was pleasantly surprised with how good this book actually was.
Zeus has been banished from Mount Olympus by the Gods and the Fates for nine years after breaking his vows with his wife Hera and sleeping around behind her back. Zeus will have to live on Earth with no way of getting home, no way to contact the other Gods, and will not be able to use any of his powers. The only way to return home and have his powers returned to him is for Zeus to fall in love with a mortal girl and for her to love him back with all of her heart.
Karly has just moved out of her parent's house and is now on her way to Vegas to go to art school. Vegas is never where Karly imagined being with parents like hers who made her watch endless CSI episodes and put in into her head that that's what going to happen to her if she leaves. On a night out with her roommates Karly meet Zeus Drakos. Zeus is the owner of a new hit casino and resort which interior is based off of Mount Olympus. And when Karly first meets Zeus she thinks that he is kind of a jerk but as time goes on the two begin to grow closer.
Like I said this book was a surprisingly good read and something that I would definitely want to read again. Although there may be some time before I begin reading the rest of the series I would for sure recommend this book for anyone to read.

Dark Frame By: Iris Blaire

(N) This book is the second book in the East Park series,  Evan is off to Harvard and with being so far away she from East Park she decides to quit East Park Exposure. But when the new owner A.J. Harrison calls Evan up and offers her fifty thousand dollars if she agrees to do one more issue, the Halloween issue Evan is back to modeling and back to being Rylan Willow. And when A.J. doesn't like any of her shoots with the new male models Evan will have to shoot with Dallas, the guy she broke up with when he went to work on his research in Costa Rica and Evan thinks that all their relationship was based on was nothing more than lust and lies.
Much like Evan's modeling A.J. is unhappy with the way to photo shoots are going and with each dismiss Britain is becoming more unhappy and less inspired. Under the reign of A.J. Britain's artistic view of East Park Exposure is gone and the issue is becoming more and more Halloween-themed S&M  and something none of the models are comfortable shooting.
It was nice getting to read from Britain's point of view in this story but having said that this book was nowhere near as good as the first book (Exposure) in the series. If you like the first book and want to continue with the series then I say go ahead and read this but if you are unsure I say maybe wait awhile before reading this book or not read this book at all.

One Chance By: T. Renee Fike

(N) Haley has always felt as though she was living in the shadow of her identical twin sister Kenzie. Wanting to get out of her shadow and be her own person Haley decides to go to a different college one away from her sister. Now at college Haley is her own person and has set her sights on Liam, a guy she's known her whole life and the one that she has always wanted. So Haley takes a chance and does something that changes her whole life.
Liam Masters, is the quarterback to his college football team, he is known to many as stubborn, cocky, gorgeous and someone who you don't want to get on his bad side. Liam has always gotten what he wants that is until he finds out that Haley a girl he has known forever used him. Now torn and shattered by what has happened he decides to make Haley feels just as bad as he does. Only one person knows the truth about everything and just how bad these two care about each other her name is Quinn and she's Haley's best friend and roommate and Quinn does what she can to make things right.
I really didn't know what to expect from this book and it turned out to be really good and I managed to finish this whole book in a day.  I would defiantly recommend this book for anyone to read.

First and Forever By: Alyssa Rose Ivy

(N) This is the fourth book in the Crescent Chronicles Series and is told through Levi's point of view. This book is two separate books, First which I have already blogged about and Forever which picks up where First leaves off. With Levi showing Allie who he really is and ends just where Flight did with Levi and Allie at their engagement party and Allie telling Levi that she doesn't love him.
I really hope that the author decides to finish writing the whole series from Levi's point of view because this series just gets better with each book. In this book you get to see even more how much Levi cares for Allie. You get to understand more of why Levi decided to give Allie the ring when he did and the reason behind it.
At the end of this book there is a short bonus story called the Royal Wedding. In this short story the point of view switches back and forth between Allie and Levi on their wedding day and the beginning of their honeymoon together. We get to read about both Allie and Levi's emotions on their magical day and the beginning of the rest of their lives.

Beautiful Oblivion By: Jaime McGuire

(N) This is the first book in the Maddox Brothers Series, this book focus on Trenton Maddox and Camille (Cami). We briefly met Trenton in Beautiful Disaster during the family poker game and Thanksgiving dinner as well as Trenton was the one to look after Abbey at Travis' fight the night of the fire.
Cami tends a bar at The Red Door with her best friend/roommate. Besides work Cami doesn't have much time for anything else expect for classes and homework. When her boyfriend T.J cancels on coming home to visit her from California again Cami goes out and ends up starting to spend time Trenton. Cami believes that she can Trenton can just be friends and nothing more but as the two grow closer and the line between friends and something more become thinner Cami doesn't want to be the reason that Trenton and his family break apart.
Trenton was the king of Eastern State University, he had guys wanting to be him and girls wanting to be with him. Then after a tragic accident Trenton leaves school and moves back in with his father left to deal with his guilt. Months after the accident Trenton is working full-time at a tattoo shop and still living at home with his widow father. Just as life is starting to return back to normal Trenton sees Cami sitting alone at the Red Door and from there his life becomes anything but normal.
What was interesting about the book was that it started before Travis met Abby so we were able to get a look at their relationship from a third party's perspective from when Travis first talked about meeting Abby, to the break-up, and their getting married in Vegas. Another thing that I thought was interesting that I don't know if anyone else realized was how easy it was to figure out who T.J. was from the beginning. I mean it was pretty obvious as to why he was always referred to as T.J. and not his full name and only a few people had actually saw T.J. and knew what he looked like. Needless to say I was not surprised at the ending when it was revealed who T.J. was. Overall this was a good book and something I would recommend reading if you liked both Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster but that being said I would still have to say that my favorite story is still Abby and Travis' story.
