Just Dessert By: Kelly Collins

(N) Katarina Cross is living a simple life, she is going to school and trying to find a job. Everything has been going on track that is until she decides to help out her friend and roommate who runs her own escort service by covering for her and being Damon Noble's escort for the night. Katarina is not the type of girl who could accept money after a date and when she refuses to continue that kind of relationship with Damon it only makes him want her more. The two start off as friends but with the connection these two feel for each other it is only a matter of time before they begin to give into those feelings. But while Katarina goes into this relationship with her heart on the line Damon holds back due to the fact that his last relationship ended so badly.
This was another yet book that I enjoyed reading right from the beginning and just could not put it down. While this is the first book in a series I will not be continuing with the series because from the samples given I did not like the next two books in the series. Saying that I still recommend giving this book a read.

Seducing My Billionaire Stepbrother By: Alexis Adaire

(N) Seducing My Billionaire Stepbrother contains all three books in the trilogy. Adopted siblings Jared and Ashley have lived in the same house their whole lives and not once growing up did Ashley think of stepbrother in any way but as an older brother. All that changed the day she accidentally saw Jared naked body in the kitchen and now Ashley cannot seemed to get it out of her mind. Ashley knows that she shouldn't have these kinds of thoughts about her brother after all they grew up together, it's too forbidden and taboo but still she cannot help but want him. Ashley wants to make a move on Jared but there is just one thing standing in her way, Jared's bitch of a fiancee Heather. But Ashley intends to get with Jared at least once before he gets married and the way to do that is to crash Jared's raunchy bachelor party wearing a mask and then seduce him. But one time cannot seem to be enough for these two who want to be together but have so much standing in their way of happiness.
I enjoyed this quick read, I could not put this book down and was a little disappointed when it was over. I really don't have anything negative to say about this book besides the fact that it was a quick read.

Naked Choke By: Celia Loren

(N) On her eighteenth birthday Caitlyn finally meets her mom's boyfriend sons and from there things just get complicated. Right from the start Caitlyn finds herself attracted to both of her new stepbrothers. When Caitlyn learns that she and her mom will be moving into her mom's boyfriend's house Caitlyn realizes that she will have to live under the same roof as Austin and Logan Riggens.
Austin and Logan are both older than Caitlyn, and they're both MMA fighters but that's where the comparisons between the two end. Austin is confident and a known lady's man while Logan is more quiet and sensitive and doesn't show his emotions and speak his thoughts to just anyone. Logan is looked at more as the 'spare' to his father while it is Austin who gets all of the attention from their father/MMA coach.
Austin lets it be known right away that he is attracted to Caitlyn and asks her out on a date and their relationship goes from nonexistent to physical really fast. Caitlyn and Logan's relationship is something completely different Logan starts out with making Caitlyn really think about her future and life where up until this point Caitlyn was fine with her mother planning her future for her. Austin and Logan have opened Caitlyn's eyes and made her more aware of her life.
I loved reading this book and it went by so fast. It seemed like I had just started reading this book when I looked down and saw that I was a little less than half way done and the next thing I knew the book was almost over. This book is an MMA book and in the past they haven't been my favorite books to read but I really enjoyed reading this one and I would definitely recommend that others read this book as well.

Henry By: Andria Large

(N) Henry Beck is the gorgeous CEO of an advertising company and he is in need of a new personal assistant. Henry expected HR to hire some older, more experienced, gentlemen but what he got instead was a young, beautiful single mother who he is having a trouble trying not to stay attracted to.
Clarie Russel is a working single-mother the last thing she ever expected was for her new boss to be the most gorgeous man that she had ever laid eyes on. Claire also never expected him to be as good to her two year old son Ethan or for Ethan to take to her boss so quickly. But Claire knows that Henry is just her boss and there's no way that the two could ever have a future together.
But as the two grow closer it becomes increasingly hard for them to avoid the obvious attraction that they feel for one another. But just when things seem to be on the verge of changing Henry's overbearing mother lets it be known what she really thinks of Claire and a freak accident occurs leading to both Henry and Claire changing their perspectives on things.
Henry is the first book in the Beck Brothers series. I enjoyed reading Henry and seemed to finished the book in no time at all. But will I be continuing on with this series I don't really think so the other brothers didn't seem to catch my attention so much that I would want to read their stories and the samples I read of their books didn't do that either. So while I probably won't be continuing on with this series I still say give Henry a try you will not be disappointed.

The Longest Ride By: Nicholas Sparks

(N) For those of you who have not yet read The Longest Ride or seen the movie this story is about two love stories one which took place in the past and the other that is happening in the present. Ira Levinson is an ninety-one year old old man who finds himself in trouble after getting into a car accident and is stranded on the side of the road. Throughout the story Ira is struggling to stay conscious and begins to imagine his late beloved wife Ruth, beside him. As a way to get him to stay awake Ruth begins to recount stories from their life together all the way from when they met to until her untimely death. Ira knows that Ruth isn't in the car with him but he holds on to just the though of her being beside him.
Meanwhile a few miles away at a local bull riding event college senior Sophia Danko meets a young bull riding cowboy named Luke, who is unlike any of the privileged frat boys she knows at her school. It is through Luke that Sophia is introduced to this whole new world different than the life that she is used to. The more time Sophia spends with Luke the more she sees herself falling for him and thinking about a future with Luke instead of the the one she had planned for herself.
Ira and Ruth and Sophia and Luke are two couples who have little in common. These relationship are separated by length of time together and the different challenges they face. But what they do have is a love worth fighting for and trying to overcome all of the challenges that they may face.
So I might not be the best person to judge this book this time around just because of the fact that I did see the movie before reading this book. Normally I am fine with watching a movie or television show and then reading the book it was based on but that was not the case here. I found the movie to be so much better than the book while my friend who recommended that I read the book found the book more interesting and this may be because she read the book before seeing the movie.
Another problem that I had with this book had to do with the fact that although I am fine with reading books where each chapter is a different narrator this one got to me. While from Ira's point of view everything was I and me, when it was Sophia or Luke's point of view these were told in third person writing he/she or Luke/Sophie. This made things confusing when about halfway through a chapter you would forget who was telling the story and there really was no way of finding out until a good while later.
With that being said I would say either read the book or watch the movie and if you decided to do both then be prepared. You won't be satisfied, whichever comes first either reading the book or watching the movie will probably be the one you enjoy more.

Fallen Crest University By: Tijan

(N) Another hit for Tijan and the Fallen Crest series. In Fallen Crest University the fearsome foursome are back together and all going to the same school. But things aren't all good Park Sebastian is out for blood. Sebastian wants Mason to pay for burning down his fraternity house (although Mason was never proven to be the one who did it) and the only way to get to Mason is to go through to the one thing that can hurt him Sam. Mason knows Sebastian is planning on going after Sam and he will do everything he can to make sure that that doesn't happen.
Logan and Sam know that the chance of Mason going to the NFL could be right around the corner and now Mason cannot get caught doing anything illegal because it could ruin his chances of getting into professional football so Logan and Sam decide that it is now time for them to be the ones to protect Mason. Sam doesn't care that she is Sebastian's target she will do whatever she can to protect Mason even if that means lying to him. But when Sebastian goes too far one too many times the fearsome foursome will need to come together to find a way to take down Park Sebastian once and for all.
This is yet another Fallen Crest book that I loved. I do have to admit that while there was some parts that were a bit slow in this book it was overall a good book. I am glad that Tijan is continuing on with this series for two more books because I just cannot get enough of these characters. If by now you haven't started reading this series then I seriously advise you to do so.

Michelle doesn't know if she can handle a relationship with Noah and Noah will have to prove to her that he is still the tech nerd that she fell for that first day that they met.
Love, Technically is a quick and enjoyable read. I managed to finish this book in no time at all and it was the correct length not too long and no too short. There was enough to enjoy with this book without it being too much and going off in the direction of becoming boring. And it is for that reason that I would recommend people read this book.
