       Gabriel Quinn is the CEO of Quinn Hotels, one of the largest hotel chains in the world. He met Kate on an airplane on its way from Seattle to New York. She was captivating and has his attention the moment Gabriel laid eyes on her. But she was far from the person she said she was. After parting ways at JFK airport, Gabriel discovered Kate had ripped him off. Gabriel never thought he'd see her again, but then fate stepped him and the two crossed paths again. This time he wasn't letting her go until her debt was paid. Kate was every kind of wrong, but that didn't stop the feelings that emerged while Gabriel kept Kate in his possession.
 
       After reading Playing the Millionaire I have to say I'm a little disappointed with Sandi Lynn. I for the most part tend to enjoy reading her books, but this was just did not do it for me. I was ready for the book to be over before I was even halfway through it. And by the time I got to the end I was basically just skimming through the pages all to see how this story would end.  As much as I hate to say it, I cannot recommend giving this a read.

Filthy Beautiful Lies (Filthy Beautiful Lies #1) By: Kendall Ryan

With her sister's life hanging in the balance, the only choice is to claw her way out, even if that means selling her virginity to the highest bidder at an exclusive erotic club. When Colton Drake takes her home, she quickly learn nothing is as it seems with this beautifully troubled man. Being with him poses challenges she never expected, and pushed her to want things she never anticipated.
       Colton Drake had no idea why Sophie was auctioning off her virginity for a cool mill. Regardless, he's now the proud new owner of a perfectly intact hymen. Drake has certain tastes, certain sexual needs and those are something that Drake doesn't think a virgin can give him, at least not without training and patience - two things which Drake lacks.
     
      Filthy Beautiful Lies was a nice surprise. I wasn't expecting much going into this book but I was pleasantly surprised with just how much I actually enjoyed reading it. I could not seem to put Filthy Beautiful Lies down and before I knew it I was already halfway through the book. And then the ending just seemed to come out of nowhere. I cannot wait to read what happens next.

Holding Out (Hawks MC Club #1) By: Lila Rose

She has a daughter that apparently knows-it-all and a best friend that could possibly have the mouth of Satan, but she's been with her through hell and back. Then there's the hunk'a'licious biker neighbor finally showing interest in her. If only she wasn't about to face the next obstacle in her life, the one she ran from six years ago: her ex-husband.
      Talon Marcus is the president of the Hawks Motorcycle Club. For two years, he's had his eye on his quiet, reclusive, yet sassy, neighbor Zara. Finally, he has the chance to claim her as his woman.
       Just when Zara's past catches up with her, she'll need, not only Talon's protection, but the help from his biker brothers. Now if only she'd stop fighting him along the way.
 
      I am so not usually one to read a MC book or to even enjoyed it when I do read them every now and then. But with Holding Out, this was something completely different. I could not seem to want to put it down and I think a lot of that had to do with the fact that while this is a MC series it didn't focus on that so much. It wasn't so much having to deal with the club business and MC life as it was about Zara and Talon, and that is an MC book that I don't mind reading. One that focuses more on the two individuals with a little bit of MC in between.
     I think that you should really give Holding Out a read.

Her Mates (Wolf Trials #1) By: Tamara White

(N) Dani has been hidden from the packs all her life for fear of being found and killed by the same person that murdered her mother but now it's time to reclaim her title.
       As the future Alpha Queen, Dani must compete in the trials with her mates to prove she's worthy to rule her people. She must choose the mate who will be right to lead alongside her but little does she know, Dani's choice will change her whole world.

       Before reading Her Mates I didn't expect much from this book so I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself enjoying this read. Her Mates was nothing like how I expected it to be and I think that's why I was able to enjoy it so much. 

Immortal Unchained (Argeneau #25) By: Lynsay Sands

(N) Ever since Domitian Argenis recognized Sarita as his life mate, he's been waiting for the perfect moment to claim her. Those fantasies did not include him being chained to a table in a secret lab or both of them being held hostage by a mad scientist. Somehow, they have to escape.
     Sarita has seen some crazy things as a cop, but nothing to rival Domitian. A vampire, never in her wildest dreams could she even fathom that vampires existed but here one is right in front of her. He has all the classic signs of a vampire, healing abilities, incredible powers, and that's including the mind blowing connects that they seem to have for one another. Now, not only do they have to save each other, but other innocent lives are at stake. Failure is not an option, Domitian has only just got the chance to be with Sarita and Sarita has a chance at an eternity of happiness.  
 
      I guess I should start by saying this this book took me forever to read. I could not seem to get into Immortal Unchained for anything but because I enjoy reading this series and because this one seemed like an important book in the series to read I powered through it until I got to the end. And sadly, it didn't get any better as time went on.
     It might be good to read Immortal Unchained if you really want to find out more about why and how so many immortals have been disappearing but other than that it might be best to just skip it.

Juked (Texas Mutiny #1) By: M.E. Carter

(N) Juked: verb. A slang soccer term meaning: faked out, deceived, confused your opponent
       As rising star in Houston, Daniel has found fame as Captain of his Pro soccer team and one of the city's most eligible bachelors. Daniel has everything - except someone special - and that suits him just fine. He doesn't want, or need, any complications.
     Quincy has baggage and lots of it. After a tragic accident spins her world on its axis, she finds herself as a single mother, raising her newborn nephew, one she never knew she had. Between parenthood, her full-time job, and dealing with the suffocating grief of losing her sister. Everyday is a struggle for Quincy.
      When Daniel and Quincy begin to cross paths unexpectedly and often, an unlikely friendship develops and soon starts to evolve into something more. Feelings change, lines are crossed, and what happens next will surprise them both.

      Going into this I didn't have much expectations for Juked mostly because it has been in my to-read list for song long and I just wanted to read it to get it over with. With that being said I found Juked to be a surprisingly good read. I didn't expect to get as into it as I did and soon found myself not wanting to put it down.

Fallen Crest Forever (Fallen Crest #7) By: Tijan

(N) Mason Kade is the dream. He's the promise, he is forever. Mason is offering something that so many would fantasize about and fight for and it's not that Same doesn't want it, or him, or to two of them forever. But, how can she say yes when she's never seen it work before? But then how can she say no to someone who already gave her happily ever after?

      I still cannot believe that with Fallen Crest Forever, the Fallen Crest series is officially coming to an end. Fallen Crest Forever picks up right where Fallen Crest Home left out and we finally get an answer to that burning question. Well, we kind of got an answer to that question.  
     Fallen Crest Forever seemed to just be this rollercoaster, there was just so many ups and downs and yet, at the same time you never wanted it to end. Bur sadly this series is coming to an end and what an end it was!
