Nevertheless, the two form a fast friendship, bonding over their mutual desire to create something beautiful from the wreckage of their lives. 
      But despite the distance between Jack and Laurel, they are still trying to make things work - fighting and f**king dirtier than ever. And Jack doesn't appreciate Laurel's new friendship with Isaac, not one f**king bit.

      When I first started reading Dirt I was really into it but then as time went on I found my mind drifting while I was reading. I originally pushed these thoughts aside and blamed it on already knowing what book I wanted to read next, or should I say what book I wanted to reread next. But as the story when on I still couldn't get into it and only kept reading because I was already so close to the end. By the time I actually finished reading Dirt I was happy it was over but at the same time I still had some unanswered questions and the only way to get those answers would be to read the next book. Knowing that if I wanted to find out what happened that I would have to read more of this story leaves things up in the air for me and I really have to give it some thought before deciding if I really want to read the next book or not.

Dirty Filthy Rich Love (Dirty Duet #2) By: Laurelin Paige

(N) Sabrina has discovered Donovan Kincaid's secret. It's dirty and filthy and rich as he is - and it haunts Sabrina as much as he ever did. Even after knowing what she knows now, she still wants to talk to Donovan, to touch him. But there's an ocean between them, and Sabrina isn't sure it can be crossed with something as easy as a phone call or a plane ride. Yet she's willing to try.
      Donovan doesn't know this yet, but this time Sabrina's the one with the power. And maybe - just maybe - if the air were cleared and all their secrets bared, there could still be a chance for Sabrina and Donovan. 

       Because I enjoyed reading Dirty Filthy Rich Men so much I couldn't wait to read Dirty Filthy Rich Love. And while I did find Dirty Filthy Rich Love to be a good read it wasn't nearly as good as the first book in the series.

Rounding Third By: Michelle Lynn

(N) Cosby was destined for stardom. From the age of seven, he was an all-star. Parents praised him and coaches worshiped him. The older he got, girls begged for him. He was Beltline's basbeall God, guaranteed to put his small town on the map.
       Then, one night change everything and that future that Cosby had worked so hard for, had vanished. The legend was laid to rest, Cosby has given up his scholarship and fled Beltline, leaving the girl he loved behind. But now he's back.
       Cosby and Ella were together for years before everything changed that night. In this two years since, Cosby is still battling with what happened that night. He lost his scholarship and is starting over thanks to his baseball coach.
       Ella and Cosby never stopped loving each other but with the incident and the small town (they came from) gossip working against them it's hard trying to see these two work to make things work when so many things are working against them.

       While Rounding Third started out as a good read as I got closer to the end then things started to go down and my interest just wasn't there anymore. And I just couldn't and still can't seem to understand why so many people like this book.

Beautiful Sky By: Ashley Blake

(N) There's this thing called chemistry, which can't be explained, it's either there or it's not and it can't be denied. For Skylar Miller chemistry was the one thing she didn't consider when she hatched her perfect plan for her freshman year of college: study hard, make new friends and stay away from boys. Still healing from an unforgivable betrayal, the last thing she needed was to see the gorgeous lead singer of Sonic Blaze belting out lyrics to her from that stage. He was tall, dark and sexy; everything she should run from, but didn't want to.
       Her world is turned upside down the night of her dorm meeting when she looks up to see the lead singer of the band introducing himself to the room as their Resident Advisor. College senior, Jonathan Hunter, is even more gorgeous than she remembered and he seems to have eyes only for her. When she finds out he is the son of Joshua Hunter, Billionaire CEO of Hunter International, all of her insecurities rise to the surface.

       I've read Beautiful Sky multiple times before and yet again I could not seem to put this book down. Beautiful Sky is definitely one I would recommend giving a read.

Beautifully Damaged By: L.A. Flore

(N) Ember Walsh is a trusting soul with the quiet beauty of her late mother, who perished in a mysterious car crash when Ember was three. A little tomboyish from being raised by her father, Ember packs a punch when a stranger gets pushy with her in a bar, catching the steely blue eyes of a tall, gorgeous tattooed man - Trace Montgomery. Still damaged from her last disastrous relationship and being warned off the bad boy by friends, Ember fights the smoldering heat that trace sparks inside her when he begins shadowing her like a dark angel.
      Burdened by a lifetime of horror and heartbreak, amateur fighter Trace doesn't want to want Ember. His deep self-loathing keeps him from having any type of meaningful relationship, but Ember is an itch Trace can't seem to scratch. The two push and pull, slowly crumbling their walls, seemingly brought together by fate, because the turmoil that haunts theirs pasts is interlinked in undeniable ways.

      I've read Beautifully Damaged multiple times before and still find myself unable to put it down. Beautifully Damaged is a bit darker than some of the other books that I've read before but there's still just something about it. But that darkness does get to you, so much so that I found myself wondering why I was reading a book like this in the dark before bed, and yet I couldn't get myself to put it down. While this book is dark, it's dark without taking things too far. If this is something you can deal with then I suggest giving Beautifully Damaged a read.

Darker By: E.L James

 (N) Darker is the fifth book in the Fifty Shades of Grey series, this book is told from Christian's point of view in what happened in Fifty Shades Darker. By this point you should have already read the other books in this series so I won't go into detail about what occurred in this book just what I thought about it.
      I find I like reading Christian's point of view in these stories maybe a bit more than reading Ana's point of view. With these books you really get to know Christian and see a side of him that we weren't able to see before. For example, I love reading his flashbacks scenes to when he was a child and living with the Greys. You read just how much the Greys have affected him and in these scenes you see just how much he cares for the Greys even when he couldn't always show it.
      Darker makes you love Christian even more and I can't wait to read Freed.

It gave Kali hope that when they did meet again, he would remember his promise and he would keep it.
      He would take one look at Kali and he wouldn't mind that she wasn't...okay. He wouldn't mind that she wasn't...normal. If he was everything Kali prayed he would be, he'd take one look at Kali and love her, like he had promised.
      Yuri and Kali met when she was just fourteen years old when her grandmother arranges for Kali to be married to Yuri in exchange for a favor. Now four years later they meet again.

       When I first started reading Yuri, I didn't know exactly what to expect. But what I did know was so far I wasn't liking what I was reading. But I powered through it and continued on reading, and I'm glad I did because once I started reading, really reading I couldn't stop.
