(N) This is the third book in the
Broken series and this book focuses on Lane Parker. Lane has secrets, secrets that even his best and closest friends don't know about. Secrets that he's been keeping long before ever meeting Aubrey. Although Lane appears to be strong and have things going for him on the inside he's drowning in his sorrows and knows no way of getting out of it. Then after four years of waiting and searching Lane finally gets the call that he has been waiting for. Lane is finally reacquainted with his world once again.
As soon as I read the sample for this book I wasn't sure if it would live up to the first two books in the series and it's sad to say that I was right. This book took me longer to read than the others in the series and I just couldn't get into it the same way as the last two. That is not to say that you shouldn't read it, if you loved Lane in
Beautiful Broken Mess and want to read his story then you should give it a try.
