(N) Rainer and Emalie were best friends since Emalie was thirteen years old. While others could not understand their friendship, Rainer being the guy that all the girls wanted to be with while all of Emalie's friends aside from Rainer were not the most popular guys around. Emalie was a bit of a tomboy and fit in more with the guys than with the girls.
Over time things began to change between Rainer and Emalie. Rainer was Emalie's first love and first heartbreak. They were good together but all that changed when Rainer's dad died and then suddenly things all went downhill. Suddenly Rainer was disappearing all the time until one day he never come back.

When Emalie goes to him Rainer is not the guy that she remembers and when he finally sees her Rainer looks right through Emalie. All these years later and Rainer doesn't recognize Emalie. So Emalie does the only think she can do she pretends to just be a girl who walked into his bar and nothing more. Emalie is determined to find out what happened to Rainer during those mysterious years that he was gone even if it mean pretending that she is okay with having just a physical relationship with Rainer.
This book was another book that I had read where some people did not give it the best reviews.  I personally did not understand what they were talking about I loved this book.  But there is something that readers should be aware of, this story does jump back and forth with then and now chapters which at times can be a little annoying. But overall this was yet another book that I just could not put down and fell in love with. Flawed Love is one of the few books that really got to me and at one point actually made me get tears in my eyes.  If you haven't read this book yet then I seriously recommend that you do.
