(N) Riley thought that she had found the perfect guy for her that is until he became aggressive and his behavior became too much for Riley to handle. Hurt and alone Riley turned to her brothers, her protectors but nothing could protect Riley from herself. Feeling alone and hurt Riley withdrew from the world and hid not wanting to fall in love again.
But Zander, lead singer and guitar player with the sexy voice has his sights set on Riley. And even though at first Riley pushes Zander away Zander's not one to give up once he made up his mind about something.
Riley has been guarded and hesitant when it comes to guys especially bad guys as it was a bad guy who shattered her heart the last time. But Riley soon begins to realize that Zander isn't the type of guy she originally thought he was. In fact Zander just might be the type of guy that a girl like Riley needs. Even though Zander and Riley might be good for each other they both have suffered their own heartache and that could prove to draw a wedge between the two.
I found Scarred By Love to be an interesting read. I say this because this book has been on my list of books to read for a while now but I always found another book that I wanted to read first. While some of those books turned out to be good not all of them were and so when it came to reading this one I had my doubts. This was one of the few books that I got so into that I didn't even realize how much I had actually read until I looked down and saw the actual progress. I would have finished the whole thing in one sitting but it was getting late and I had to wake up early the next morning. Scarred By Love is definitely a book I think people should read.

Go Deep By: Bella Love-Wins
(N) Slade 'Slaughter' Clark is a southern football star in his senior year of college. After college Slade is going straight through to the NFL. He has women following him around as well as fans, coaches, and sports agents all of whom know that he is the best at what he does. Everyone wants Slade, everyone that is except for one person, Cassidy Greyson. Cassidy is an 'uptight' cheerleader, Slade's brother's best friend and a fellow student is a few of his classes. Now Slade will spend his senior year getting a piece of Cassidy.
Cassidy Greyson has worked her butt off for three years at school and during summers so that she could graduate early and get out of Louisiana. Cassidy's only a cheerleader because it was a family tradition and what was expected from her. Cassidy's older sister was a cheerleader who fell for an NFL star and Cassidy does not want to follow in her footsteps. It is for this reason as to why Slade doesn't have a chance with her. Cassidy has avoided letting herself fall for Slade. But that all begins to change when their business professor partners Slade and Cassidy up for a major project. Now the two are spending more time together and as time goes on it becomes harder for Cassidy not to fall for Slade.
Go Deep was one of the free books that I got and yet again I was not impressed by it. I found myself getting only to about halfway through with the book before I just started skimming through the rest of the it. And even then I was only skimming through just to see how it ended. And then when it did end I was like 'that was it?' Needless to say this was not a book that I enjoyed reading and won't be reading again anytime soon.

When You're Back (Rosemary Beach #12) By: Abbi Glines
(N) A chance meeting has turned into a whirlwind romance for Reese and Mase as Reese prepares to move in with Mase on his family ranch in Texas. After her recent discovery that she has a family she never knew about and moving in with Mase, Reese is finally able to move away from her dark past of horror and into a new and shiny future. But moving in with Mase was a lot better in theory than in action.
Mase's cousin Aida has made it her mission to make Mase see just how wrong Reese is for him. Aida has been raised to think of Mase as her cousin, but it's clear to anyone who can see (expect for Mase that this) that Aida doesn't love Mase as a cousin should but instead as something more.
Then there's also Captain, a stranger who keeps seeming to pop up in Reese's life and is someone who has connections both in Dallas and in Rosemary Beach. Captain is hot, mysterious, and has absolutely no filter. Captain isn't afraid to tell Reese exactly how it is when it comes to Mase, even if it's something that she really does not want to hear.
As Aida and Captain both work their own ways into keeping Mase and Reese apart, Reese's past begins to make an appearance again, leading to shocking truths that will forever change both Mase and Reese.
After waiting a very long time for this book to become available at the library and waiting to read the second half to Mase and Reese's story I'm finally got a chance to read this book. And I have to say that the wait was well worth it, When You're Back was actually a good book to read. I found this surprising because the last few Rosemary Beach stories I read where not that great but this one was. It kept my attention throughout the entire time. Mase and Reese's story is one that I really think is worth reading in this series, they make for an interesting couple.

Bad Boy's Cinderella By: Raleigh Blake
(N) Kylie has a list of things that she needs in order to get her life back together; get a new job, save money for her father, to stop being jealous of her best friend's recent wedding, and to stop obsessing over Reade Lennox. Reade Lennox is this gorgeous all-American with good looks. Last year Reade was the MVP of the Super Bowl. And has been on the pages of every tabloid in the country for almost every day. But Reade isn't picture perfect, he gets into bar brawls, has problems with the team, and with every new week comes a new conquest for Reade. Kylie is the last thing that Reade needs in her life but she still cannot seem to get him out of her mind. While Kylie might not want to be his Reade does and he's not planning on letting her go so easily.
Bad Boy Cinderella was a short read which I finished in no time at all. I found this book just to be an okay read, it wasn't good and it wasn't great either. I finished this book and I was fine with the ending but I don't think that this would be a book that I would seriously want to read again. Or one that I would say is a must read.

Big Rock By: Lauren Blakely
Pretty soon all the pretending to be a couple in public leads the two to no longer pretending in the bedroom. And soon the feelings that these two have been faking for each other becomes real
For Big Rock I really did try to get into this book and even when I wasn't feeling it I still kept reading thinking 'hey maybe it gets better.' But no I just couldn't do it, I couldn't get into it. I tried I really did to like it, I don't know why I tried so hard to like it but I did and I just couldn't make it through this book. I finally gave up after about halfway through cause I just couldn't get myself to care anymore about this book or about what would happen next. This book was just not the book for me.

The Anatomy of Jane (WJM Book 1) By: Amelia Lefay
(N) Jane, Jane has always been on her own. She is used to her life consisting of nothing but work, keeping Allen out of trouble, and if she has some extra time then sleep. Then she meets Max and Wesley when she becomes their maid.
Max, Everyday more than half a million people tune in to watch Max's show. These viewers trust him, Max is the only son of the prominent Emerson family. However, Max likes to believe that his viewers trust him because he is so honest with the news that he reports on. Max is honest with everything he reports on but what's he's not honest about is himself. Max has been in a relationship with a man for four years now and no one knows about it...until her.
Wesley, There are only three things that Wesley wants. First, to have Maxwell Emerson and Jane Chapman both in his bed. Second, to be the best chef in the county. Third, to figure out how to simultaneously get the first and second things that he wants without anyone getting hurt.
Three people, three ideas on how this relationship should go and one love story.
While I really enjoyed reading this book the author definitely needs an editor. I found so many spelling and grammatical errors that at times these errors took away from what I was reading. Aside from those errors this book was actually a really good book to read and I cannot wait till the next books comes out later this year to find out what exactly will happen next.
