(N) Wolf Shifter Rae Lyall has been chosen by the Goddess to become the next Guardian of her Montana Shiftertown, a position Rae doesn't want to have and one no one else wants her to have for no woman has ever been selected for such a position before. Sill adjusting to her new position Rae's father and leader of the Montana Shiftertown sends Rae to train with Zander Moncrieff, a Shifter healer on her new role and responsibilities.
Zander's a polar bear Shifter who doesn't wear a Collar and follows no one's rules but his own. Rea finds Zander arrogant and demanding yet at the same time finds him compelling and intriguing. Zander has no desire to mate but the new Guardian he's in charge of training is slowly drawing him out of his shell and stirring feelings inside that he has long since suppressed.
And when faced with a new threat Zander and Rae are forced closer to danger and to each other.
Guardian's Mate is the ninth book in the Shifter's Unbound series. As a fan of the Shifter's Unbound series I do have to say that while this was another book that I finished in no time at all it wasn't the best book that I've read in this series. While I did find myself at times not being able to put this book down overall it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The problem is that this one didn't seem as though there was much going on in this book in terms of the overall story in the series so I think it's safe to say that you could skip in the series.

Womanizer By: Katy Evans
(N) Olivia Roth has been given the chance to intern at Callan Carmichael's firm as a favor from her older brother through one of his best friends Callan. While Olivia may have only gotten the internship because of her connections Olivia wants to be able to prove to herself and to others that she deserves this internship based on her own merits.
After finishing her first day on the job Olivia heads up to the roof for some air and finds a hot stranger already there. The two share a cigarette and after that one meeting there's an attraction there that neither one can deny. And the best part is, neither knows who the other really is, she thinks he works in the mail room and he thinks she's just an outspoken feisty girl. What they don't know is that her hot stranger is Callan Carmichael, CEO of the company she now interns at and she is his best friend's little sister.
When their true identities are revealed both know that they shouldn't be together but the chemistry they have for one another is just too hot to ignore. Callan and Olivia only have three months until her internship is over and she goes back home to Texas.
Olivia knows that Callan isn't the one for her after all he's a manwhore but for the time being that will be enough for her.
Womanizer is said to be book 4 in the Manwhore series but can be read as a standalone. Having not read the other books in the series I can say that I really enjoyed this book nonetheless and don't feel as though I missed out on anything having not read the other books in this series first.
As soon as I read the sample for this book I knew I had to buy it and find out what happens next. I found myself unable to put this book down. I would tell myself I'll read just one more chapter and then put the book down but I found myself unable to stop and kept wanted to read just a bit more. Whether you have read the other books in this series or not I suggest reading this book.

Needing The Memories (The Rocker Series Novella) By: Terri Anne Browning
(N) Lana is his angel and Drake is her Demon. They're each others best friend, lover, and everything that they could always ask for and more. Their life hasn't always been perfect but as long as they have each other and their kids they are the happiest people in the world.
Nothing can tear these two apart but Drake does have one regret. One shame in his life that every year at the same time eats away at him. Drake hates the man that he once was. There is this anger inside of Drake that comes from taking something from the woman who had given herself to Drake freely but he is unable to remember it. This year it's hitting Drake worse than ever before and is slowly beginning to drive him crazy. In order to stop this insanity Drake wants a do-over, he wants to be able to rewind time and give him and Lana that night over again.
What Drake needs more than a do-over for that night is a new memory to replace the empty blackness that is trying to swallow him whole.
So while I cannot say that Drake and Lana were my favorite couple throughout The Rocker series I still looked forward to how their story played out once the series ended with Forever Rockers and this novella did not disappoint. I could not put Needing The Memories down and loved reading more about Drake and Lana and the family that they have created together.
At the end of the novella Browning also included a Rocker series companion. This is basically a little cheat sheet of all of the main characters that we have met throughout the entire Rocker series as well as Browning's own feelings on each character and book. I liked the little companion at the end because it was good for people like me who skipped around in the series and didn't read all the books to find out what happened in the books that I didn't read. It was also an interesting thing to get Browning's thoughts on each book and the chapters. We were able to get her thoughts on which characters were her favorite and which she grew to love.

Kadence (Rockstar Series #7) By: Anne Mercier
After bonding with Kadence, his six year old daughter Jace can't help but try and be the best father he can for her daughter. But that is easier said than done when social worker Summer Stephens doesn't deem Jace's rockstar lifestyle fit for parenting. Summer believes all the stereotypes about rockstars, that their lives are all about sex, drugs, and rock & roll.
Now it's up to Jace to convince Summer that Kadence is right where she belongs, at home with Jace at CFD. Jace is facing his fierces battle yet, trying to prove there's room in his life for music and the daughter he wants to share it all with.
There are only a few times or instances where I will just buy a book as soon as it comes out without even reading the sample first, and Anne Mercier's Rockstar series is one of those times. And yet again she did not disappoint, once I started reading Kadence I just could not put this book down. If you haven't started reading this series yet then I suggest you start.

The Anatonmy of Us (WJM Book#2) By: Ameila Lafey
(N) When we last left off with Jane, Max and Wesley Max had just gotten in a car accident and left both Jane and Wesley behind while he went off to recover from the accident on his own.
It's taken Max three and a half years to both fully heal and walk again after being in an accident that left him with little chance of ever walking again. Now that Max is physically back to what he once was it's time for him to find Wes and Jane so that they all can be together again. But getting back Wes and Jane isn't as easy as Max thought it would be. Wes wants nothing to do with Max, and Jane, Jane has spent the last few years raising a daughter by herself.
The last three years has taken its toll on each of them and in order to come back together they will each have to fight harder than they ever did before.
I have been waiting what seems like forever for this book to come out and while I cannot say that this book was worth the wait it was definitely something. I only say that because this book seemed to move at a slower pace than the previous book the Anatomy of Us. That being said this book still had its attention grabbing moments and had me wanting to find out what would happen next. While I did enjoy reading this book I do have to say that there were a lot of editing errors that at times were a bit distracting and took away from the story. Overall I still have to say that this is a series worth reading.

The Fix Up By: Kendall Ryan
(N) Sterling Quinn is a British divorce lawyer who after spending years handling some many divorce cases is determined to forever stay a playboy. But Sterling's world gets turn upside down when he stands to inherit millions of dollars, there's just one catch; Sterling has six months to get married in order to get the inheritance. While Sterling doesn't want or need to money for himself he does know that the money could help with his mom, so he decides to go through with the project of finding a wife. And that is where Camryn come in.
Camryn works in public relations and is put in charge of finding Sterling a wife which makes him completely off-limits. But the more time these two spend together the stronger the sexual tension between these two becomes. Camryn wants to keep a level head while trying to find Sterling a wife but Sterling wants to go all in with Camryn.
The Fix Up was something that I was looking forward to reading but then when I started reading it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. One of the reasons of that could be because while I was reading this book other books can along that I wanted to read more. Or it could also be because The Fix Up had somewhat of a slow start but along the way it did end up getting better. Overall I do think that this book was a good read and one that I would recommend.
