Before Jamaica Lane By: Samantha Young

(N) Another hit for Samantha Young. It took me forever to start reading this book but once I started reading I could to put it down. This book is the third book in the Dublin Street series and this story focused on Nate and Olivia's story.
Nate is a gorgeous player who never commits to any woman, he leaves these women before things can ever get serious. Nate is best friends with Olivia and they are closer than friends, Nate has a key to her apartment and stops by all the time where they watch movies together and play 'would you rather.'
We met Olivia in the last book who is the daughter of Jo and Cole's uncle. Olivia's father raised her later in life after being introduced for the first time when she was in her teenage years. Olivia has never really felt comfortable with herself or found herself attractive. So when she develops a crush on Ben, a postgraduate student who frequents the library she works at Olivia can't help but get all tongue-tied every time he talks to her. Needing help Olivia turns to Nate who offers to teach her lessons in the art of feeling comfortable in her skin and getting what she wants.
Things heat up when these two start the lessons and what was once a friendly lesson in seduction turns into an intense relationship that is kept hidden from their friends. Just when things start to get good Nate's past issues with commitment come up and they leave Olivia brokenhearted and without the company of her best friend. By the time Nate realizes his mistake it may be too late and his best friend Olivia may have already moved on and might not believe Nate when he tells Olivia that his feelings for her are real.
