(N) This is the final book in The Selection series and I'm sad to see this story come to an end but at the same time this series is ready to come to an end. I read this story in a whole day, every time I wanted to stop reading I just could not out it down something kept me reading.
That being said the story was good but not great although I am happy with whom America choose to end up with I am not happy with the book as a whole. It is now down to the final few and the possibility is even bigger than before that America could be the next Queen of Illea. America has finally made her chose and she is going to fight in order to stay in the competition and be with Maxon. But throughout the story America struggles with trying to keep out of trouble so that the King won't send her home before Maxon can chose her as his bride.
It seems as though this series could have gone a number of ways for the storyline and conclusion. And the way that was chosen is one that I did not necessarily like. The story felt as though it was rushed and as if the author was trying to sum up everything in into this last book in as few pages as possible with little or no connection to things seen in the previous books. It also felt as though this book was all over the place. But if you are a fan of the series I suggest reading this book and seeing for yourself how this series ends.
