Where I Belong By: J.Daniels

(N) This is book one in the Alabama Summer series. Mia Corelli is returning to spend the summer in Alabama with her childhood friend Tessa. Mia cannot wait to spend the summer back in Alabama and with her best friend, there is just one person who she does not want to see and that's Benjamin Kelly, Tessa's older brother. Ben is the bane of Mia's existence, he made Mia's life a living hell growing up. Mia hates Ben with everything she is, and has no desire to see him at all while she is in Alabama.
Mia decides to start her summer off with a bang, she wants to lose her virginity before spending the summer in Alabama. Mia is sick and tired of being a virgin and finally wants to have sex. Unbeknownst to Mia when she walks into the bar and hands over her virginity to the first guy who buys her a drink it turns out to be the last person she ever expected him to be. Mia learns a very valuable lesson the next day, always get the name of the guy you're about to sleep with.
Ben cannot get the girl he spent the night with out of his head. When she leaves the next morning he thinks that he'll never see her again. That is until he sees her the next day laying by the pool next to his sister. Ben is now aware that it was Mia who he spent the night with and who he now cannot get out of his head.
Mia is determined to hate Ben for all that he did to her growing up but she still cannot seem to stop thinking about him. Ben is determined to prove to Mia that he's not the same guy that he was back then, that he's a changed man, a different man.
I could not put this book down, and managed to finish it in no time at all. This was another book that had me staying up later than I wanted to because I had to see how it ended. This is a book I would definitely recommend giving a try and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

Waiting For Us By: Dawn Stanton

(N) Hailey has been in love with Cory Marshall, her brother's best friends since she was a teenager. Cory is a player and a notorious heart breaker but Hailey cannot help but have feelings for him. But it's not until she's older when Hailey learns that maybe her feelings are not totally one sided. But Cory being the ladies man that he is is not something that Hailey can handle.
Marcus O'Connor,  he's been Hailey's best friends for as long as she could remember. He's everything you could possibly want in a friend, he's loyal and compassionate, and over time Hailey begins to realize just how good looking Marcus really is. Hailey and Marcus have spent every summer together for years and Marcus has always been there for Hailey to help pick up the pieces left behind by her broken heart. He knows all her secrets and she knows all of his, well almost all. Marcus has been in love with Hailey for years and she has absolutely no idea.
Marcus and Cory are two guys that have been in Hailey's life forever and have both impacted her life in one way or another. Hailey has these two guys in her life who both love her and she loves them right back. But making the decision of who to choose is a decision that she isn't sure she can make.
This was another book that started on the right track but began to lag about halfway through. One of the things was it was just skip over time every few chapters. Like every few chapters it would be something like May 2015, August 2015, December 2015, etc. Besides that I couldn't get into the book for a few reasons one it was first just being told just through Hailey's point of view then switched a good portion of the way through to also giving the points of view for Cory and Marcus. Also there just seems to be fill in chapters till the next big thing happened. All in all I just could not get into this book and would not recommend reading.

(N) Isabella (Belle) Kensington has been in Africa for the past two years helping those in need but when she comes home she finds out her fiance had been cheating on her the whole time that she has been gone. After Belle learns about her fiance's infidelity she breaks off the wedding and heads to Las Vegas. There Belle runs into Albie and the two have an instant connection and by the end of the night the two end up getting married. The next morning Belle leaves without saying anything to Albie. But the two see each other soon enough when Belle flies off to Protrovia at her mother's request. There she finds out her mother is marrying the king and his son is Prince Albert is Belle's new husband.
I enjoyed reading this book and I actually got Sabrina Pagie's Tool included with this purchase which I didn't know about until I finished the book at only like 60% through. So it was actually a good deal I got two book for one. But besides the fact that this would be a good purchase, 2 books in 1 this was actually a good enjoyable read. And a book I would recommend others give a try.

Sing Your Heart Out By: Crystal Kaswell

(N) Meg Smart is 21 years old and still a virgin. Meg walks the straight and marrow path, all of her focus is on studying and doing well enough to get into Med school. Meg avoids any kind of trouble that includes drinking, doing drugs, and especially boys. She doesn't have anytime time for boys let alone even want a boyfriend.
Miles Webb is a rock star and he doesn't do being someone's 'boyfriend.' He doesn't do relationships or anything complicated, he skips over all that and is more in favor of just an easy distraction. A beautiful women screaming out his name during sex and then not having to deal with her again unless it has to do with more sex.
Meg is drawn to Mikes before she even meets him, well she's more along the lines drawn to the pain she hears in his voice when he sings. But when she finally meets Miles at a mutual friend's party after having walked in on him with another woman the man she meets is nothing like the man whose songs she listens to. Miles loves nothing more than to tease Meg and to make her blush and by the end of the night he is offering her a night that she will never forget.
Neither Meg or Miles want to start a relationship let alone be in one but there's no denying the attraction that these two feel for one another. So they come with an arrangement, a friends with benefits arrangement, nothing more and nothing less. The only rules they have are no secrets, no lying, and no feelings for one another, and if at any time one does develop feels for the other they must immediately tell them and the arrangement is over. Only the more time they spend together the harder these rules are to follow.
This book started out on the right foot but after a while I started to lose interest in the book. It just seemed to be much of the same thing over and over again and by the end of it I was just ready for the book to be over. Needless to say I will not be reading this book again or continuing on with the next book in this series.

Ashleigh is devastated and now no longer wants anything to do with either her father or her boyfriend. She spends the rest of her time getting ready to finish high school and heading off to college.
On her first day at college she and her new roommate go out to check out some guys when her heart literally stops, Ashleigh would recognize those eyes anywhere, it's Jason and Dean her two childhood friends all grown up. Jason and Dean both recognize Ashleigh right away and after a tearful reunion they all go back to the guys apartment when there are pictures everywhere of the guys with Tina (another of Ashleigh's childhood friends). Ashleigh's heart breaks when she sees these pics, that should have been her and she knows that she's been replaced. The boys are able to convince Ashleigh that they could never replace her but with the more time the three spend together the more jealous Tina gets and convinces Ashleigh that at she will eventually have to choose between Jason and Dean and that is not something that Ashleigh could ever do.

Knockout By: Tracey Ward

(N)  Kellen Coulter is a boxer from the wrong side of the tracks, he's worked his way through many girls with his good looks and great smile. Kellen doesn't let anyone get close to him, he doesn't let anyone in, and he tells his secrets to no one. No one that is except for Jenna Monroe. Jenna is the only one who has ever seen the the real Kellen Coulter. The two met when Kellen was eighteen and Jenna was thirteen when Jenna's father an attorney took Kellen under his wing after Kellen was charged with assault. Jenna's father saw something in Kellen and believed that he could help Kellen stay out of trouble.
Kellen begins to spend more and more time at Jenna's house, he begins to stay out of trouble and with the more time he spends at the Monroe household he also begins to spend time with Jenna. The two hit it off right away, Kellen tutors Jenna in her classes and Jenna is there as an ear for Kellen. But when Kellen starts dating Lacey Jenna's older sister Jenna feels hurt every time she sees the two of them together.
So this book is the first book in a North Star series, and while most of this book was actually quite enjoyable I will not be continuing on with this story. And that is because I really do not see the need for two more books it seemed that if this book was just a few chapters longer it could have just ended with this one and I do really see the need to continue on. Besides that most of this book was really good that was up until the last few chapters cause then it just seemed to be a little bit too much but besides that this was a good read.

Holly is fighting to keep the life that she had before turning to an immortal. She insists that nothing will change in her marriage even though that now she is an immortal. Justin will not let his life mate go without a fight even though she insists that they cannot be together.
This is yet another book I have read by this author in this series and yet again I could not put this book down. Although this book was a little slow to start off with it soon picked up pace and soon I could not put it down and found myself finishing the booking in no time at all. If you haven't started reading this series yet I would suggest starting it. The series does not necessarily have to be read in order but it does help to read them in order when the books makes references to things that happened in the previous books in the series.

Until Friday Night By: Abbi Glines

(N) This is the first book in a brand new series by Abbi Glines. To everyone around him West Ashby is that guy: the cocky, popular, handsome football god who could have anyone he wanted. But while he puts on this facade of the Big Man on Campus West is really dealing with something serious that is tearing him up inside. West is having to watch his father slowly die from cancer all the while keeping it a secret from everyone around them.
Two years ago Maggie Carleton's life forever changed after her father murdered her mother. Now after telling the police what she witnessed that night she has stopped speaking and hasn't spoken since then. Maggie has stayed quiet all this time keeping her sorrows to herself and hiding away from the rest of the world.
As West's pain becomes to much for him to handle and knows that he needs someone to confide in he opens up to the one person he knows won't say anything to anyone. West expects that talking about his dad will help bring some relief to him what he doesn't expect is the quiet girl to talk back to him or to start telling him about her own sorrows. The two begin to grow closer and form a connection over their mutual grief something that no one else around them can even begin to understand.
I've read a few books by this author before and there seems to be a pattern with these books being either a hit or a miss with me and this book was definitely a miss for me. I just really could not get into this book. It could be because one of the main characters doesn't even talk to anyone for most of the book or at all really. Or it could just be the story line itself but either way I did not like this book at all. And is not a book that I could say is worth reading.

Trust Me By: Lacey Black

(N) Twenty-two year old Avery Steven has spent the last three years rasing her daughter alone with her family and best friend as support systems after her boyfriend wants nothing to do with her after he finds out she's pregnant. Avery has had a crush on the one man she cannot have (her older brother's best friend Maddox) for so long now.
Police officer Maddox Jackson is considered somewhat of a ladies man around town. Maddox has no plans of ever settling down he's happy with living the life as a single man. But as much of a ladies man that he is there is still one woman who he seems he cannot stay away from and has to fight the attraction he feels towards her consistently.
When the two learn that the attraction they feel towards each other isn't just one sided they begin a secret relationship to protect themselves from Avery's overprotective older brother and Maddox's best friend. Maddox and Avery both know that Avery's brother would never stand for their relationship so they feel that they much keep it a secret. But after being betrayed by someone she's trusted before and when doubts and past secrets begin to surface concerning Maddox Avery is easy to believe them.
This was yet another book that I could not put down. Although it did kind of start off slow for me it picked up rather quickly and then I was hooked. At one point I could not put this down despite the fact that I had to because it was late and I had to wait up early the next morning. This book is the first in a series and I have yet to decide if I want to continue with the series because the next books are stories about the other characters in the series. But either way this is definitely a book to read.
