Jake has everything in his life that he never thought that he would have and one that he didn't think that he deserved. But his life wasn't always this perfect, the sudden and unexpected death of his best friend and band mate sent Jake spiraling. His life was once filled with drugs, alcohol, and an endless supply of women. It wasn't until Tru walked back into his life that Jake was finally able to turn his life around but now his past has caught back up with him. And what it brings is something that Jake never expected and a new challenge that he and Tru will have to face.
      I enjoyed this quick novella from The Storm series and after reading this novella it gave me even more reason to love this series. While I haven't reviewed the previous books in this series I read them and recommend others read them as well and who knows maybe I will go back and review those books. The other books in the series in order are The Mighty Storm, Wethering the Storm, Taming the Storm, and finally The Storm.
