(N) One week it was only suppose to be for one week and then they would never see each other again. Thea Cunning never expected to see Levi Black again. The two had a steamy one-week fling after they met at a bar. Then come Monday morning and Thea discovers that the man she shared a bed with for a week is not only her professor but he's also one of the top criminal lawyers in that state of Massachusetts.
Everyone in her class is competing for a spot in one of Professor Black's twelve disciples, a group a twelves students that Professor Black takes under his wing. Getting this spot is an opportunity that everyone wants and could mean so much for their career. Thea considers dropping the class and Levi does everything he can to try and get her to drop the class. After all how can you learn and how can you teach when the person you shared a passionate week with is in the same room and you have to pretend like it never happened. But in order to do what Thea wishes to accomplish, getting her father out of prison, she needs to learn from the best and Levi Black is the best.
So this book was good and held my attention throughout the whole thing. It wasn't necessarily the best book that I have read recently but it did keep my attention, which says something and I plan on keeping this book. Overall I would say this is a good book and one that is worth reading.
