Ryan's a professional hockey player trying to survive on his new team. He's just trying to survive.
Zoe's down to her last dollar. She lives day-to-day in a world that doesn't care. Despite her bad luck, she's a fighter. Zoe never gives up. She never stops trying.
Ryan Parker's wealth and generosity, sets him apart from anyone Zoe knows. Yet, she doesn't trust him. It's nothing personal. She trusts no one. But when her bad luck takes a turn for the worse, one person shows up. Ryan Parker.
She cannot understand why Ryan bothered because the guy has enough of his own issues to deal with. But I don't have a choice. She needs him. It's a matter of survival.
His friendship changed everything. It changed her. Zoe started to believe in herself. She allowed herself to trust. And for the first time, in a long time, Zoe felt her heart beat from again.
In the game of love, winning is harder than it looks. She doesn't know the rules. She doesn't know how to win. But she'll play her heart out until the whistle blows.
When I first started reading Home Game I wasn't sure what to expect. But it wasn't long before I was found myself completely into this story. I just could not seem to want to put it down. Home Game is definitely a book that I would read again.
