Captivated By You By: Sylvia Day

(N) This is book 4 in the Crossfire series, Gideon and Eva are officially married although only a select few know that the just of the world believes that they just got engaged. Gideon is still trying to solve all the problems and future problems himself without ever including Eva even when he should. And there is more than one situation which can affect Gideon and Eva's relationship.
At the beginning of the series I loved these books but after the second book things started to go down. This series was supposed to be a trilogy but instead more books were added and I think that is what became this series downfall. Don't get me wrong there were some good parts to this book but for the most part the stuff in here were just fill ins in order to get to the next book. But there was one thing that I did like about this story and it was that this time the story was also told from Gideon's perspective and see why he does what he does in terms of keeping things from Eva. If you are a fan and plan on reading this book than go ahead and if you do not feel like reading this, you are not missing much.

Echos on Scotland Street By: Samantha Young

(N) This is book five in the On Dublin Street series and this book focuses on the relationship between Cole and Shannon. We first met Cole in Down London Road when he was just fourteen now it is years later and he is the manager of a tattoo shop.
Shannon has always been attracted to the wrong kind of men and they have always screwed her over in one form or another. After going from one bad relationship to the next Shannon no longer wants anything to do with bad boys, and this conclusion came in the worst possible way.
When Shannon first sees Cole she knows that he is exactly what she should stay away from. He's gorgeous, charming, tattooed, and cocky all the qualities that Shannon is trying to avoid. But Shannon can't look past Cole's bad boy exterior and see that on the inside Cole is really just a good guy who is looking for his "one" and Cole is determined to be with Shannon.
When Shannon finally begins to open her heart and trust Cole her past comes back to haunt her and soon she doesn't know what to do. The feelings that Shannon holds close to her could destroy all the hope for her and Cole's relationship.
It's funny I did not really have high hopes for this book after reading the last one but I have to say that I was impressed. I managed to finish this book in two days because I just could not put it down and only ended up doing so because of the late hour. Although there were some serious things going on throughout the book there were other times when this book had me laughing out loud. This book got me back into the series, and wanting to find out what the next book in the series will be about.

Falling Down (Rockstar #1) By: Anne Mercier

(N) This is book one in the Rockstar series. Lucy has had a crush on him since she was twelve years old and it isn't until she's seventeen until she meets him in person. Now at the age of twenty-three she is working alongside her best friend/'sister' as one of the two actresses in his band's latest music video single.
Jesse Kingston is a temptation that is hard to resist. As much as Lucy doesn't want to be involved with him it becomes hard to just do a job and not want to take Jesse home with her. There is no avoiding Jesse not when he always makes his presence known and makes some not so innocent touches. When it comes to avoiding Jesse Kingston there is no avoiding him and soon Lucy doesn't want to anymore.
Then Jesse proposes a weekend together, one weekend and if after that she wants nothing to do with him then that will be it. So Lucy agrees and give into the fantasy that she has wanted for a long time. But once the weekend is over neither is really willing to give it up.
This book did have some slow parts but for the most pat was a good book worth reading.

Poles Apart By: Kirsty Moseley

 (N) I fell in love with this book right from the beginning and could not put it down. At the end of every chapter I just wanted to continue reading to find out what happens next. Emma Bancroft is a part-time lap dancer trying to makes ends meet. Emma is only eighteen and has to take care of her two year old daughter and her fifteen year old brother as well as herself. When Emma became pregnant her parents no longer wanted anything to do with her and kicked her out so Emma's brother left and joined her. Emma did whatever she could to make ends meet.
Carson Matthews, is the hottest driver to ever hit the MotoGP circuit. He lives a carefree celebrity lifestyle completely different than the lifestyle that Emma lives. Carson has little worry in his life, he only worries about staying at the top of the leader board. On weekends Carson likes to go to Angels Gentlemen's Club and see a certain dancer when he does.
Carson and Emma have known each other since Emma started working at the club but it was only until recently where things really started to change between the two. It soon becomes harder for Emma to keep a secret that she kept for the last two and a half years.
I have to give this book a huge thumbs up because it kept me wanting more with each passing chapter. And the only thing I was disappointed about was when it was over cause the book just seemed to fly by and was over before I knew it.

Falling For Ava By: Pamela Ann

(N) This is the second book in the British Billionaires series. This book is about Reiss and Ava, when Reiss Chambers was seventeen he saw Ava for the first time and immediately knew that he was in for trouble. Reiss was the son of Ava's family's household gardener and Reiss knew that he could never live up to the money that Ava was accustomed to. Even though they had to hide their relationship from everyone Reiss knew that as long as they had each other then everything was good. But when Ava's family finds out about their relationship they are immediately against it.
Reiss is nowhere near the man that Ava's mother thinks is good enough for her daughter. And it all begins to become to much for Ava when all she hears is how bad the two of them are together from her mother. When Ava's ex makes an appearance at her home the worst thing that she could ever imagine happened. After Ava betrays Reiss he walks away from her vowing never to look back and never to love her again.
Ten years later the two run into each other again only this time Reiss isn't the same Reiss that Ava knew where she was a teenager. Now Reiss has money more money than her family ever imagined that he could have. When the two meet again Reiss wants nothing to do with Ava while she is still guilt ridden after what happened all those years ago.
Although this book is the second book in the series I did just read this book and skipped over the first one because it didn't really interest me.  I found this book it be quite enjoyable, but I do have to say that I didn't enjoy the chapters going back and forth between past Reiss and Ava and present Reiss and Ava. But besides that this book is definitely something that I would enjoy reading again.

Follow By: Jahuss

(N) This is part 1 of six in the Social Media series, in part 1 Grace an event planner and has traveled with her best friend Bebe to the Caribbean on a 'honeymoon trip' that the two won from a radio station. Much of Grace's time is spend on Twitter with her Twitter handle @FilthyBlueBird where she and a bunch of her online best friends send filthy tweets and see who can try to come up with the best filthy tweet in only one a hundred and forty characters or less. And through the years Grace has been using those one hundred and forty characters to use Hollywood heartthrob and actor Vaughn Asher as her muse. Grace has been sending Vaughn dirty tweets but doesn't see the harm in it because everything is anonymous and on Twitter she doesn't have to be in normal regular girl that she is in real life.
Vaughn Asher is Hollywood royalty and has learned to deal with the lime light. Vaughn has grown up in the spotlight going from child actor to Hollywood blockbuster. Behind closed doors Vaughn lives in the life of kinky sex and makes all of his subs sign NDAs, while Vaughn doesn't have a problem keeping subs he does have a problem getting rid of them.
Unbeknownst to Grace her and Bebe's Caribbean trip is to Vaughn's family resort and when her and Vaughn come together their connection leads them to a path that neither is prepared for.
After reading part 1 of this series I have concluded that this series was just not for me and not something that I could really get into or see myself reading the rest of the books in the series. But if you feel like you would enjoy this book then go ahead. The rest of the parts in this series are as followed; part 1: Follow, part 2: Like, part 3: Block, part 4: Status, part 5: Profile, and part 6: Home

StepBrother Dearest By: Penelope Ward

(N) I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. I kept wanting to know what happened next at the end of every chapter and kept on reading even when I probably should have been trying to fall asleep instead.
When Greta's stepbrother comes to live with her mother and stepfather he isn't anything like she expected. Even so Greta tries to become friends with Elec and get to know him but he wants nothing to do with her and makes it a point to torment her every chance he can get. But that doesn't mean that Elec's all bad he does have his moments with Greta where the two could actually be considered friends and close. But every time that the two do start to get close Elec pushes her away. Just when Elec starts to feel at home he gets some unexpected news that has him going back home to California but before he does one night between him and Greta changes them both.
Years later after heading back to California Greta and Elec finally see each other again after tragedy strikes the family. Elec has changed a lot in the seven years since Greta has seen him and he's only gotten better. Greta had her heart broken once before over Elec and now it seems as though it is about to happen all over again.
This book is told in two parts: part 1 is when Greta and Elec are seventeen years old and part 2 is a flash forward of seven years later when the two reunite. I would recommend this book to anyone and once you begin reading you will not want to put it down. This book has so many great reviews and once you begin reading it you will see why.

Runied By:Tracy Wolff

(N) This is book one in the Ethan Frost series, and it says that if you're a fan of Fifty Shades, Bared to You, and Release Me than you will soon be a fan of this series as well. And speaking from someone who has read two of the three series above I can agree with that statement.
Chloe Girard is spending the summer working at Frost Industries for an internship. On her first day of work she gets in an stand off with one of the guys working the juice bar in the cafeteria and it is not until later that she realizes just who she was arguing with and that begins to change her own life. But there are ghosts from Chloe's past that she keeps close to her chest, something that makes her not so close with her family and not very trusting of others of the opposite sex.
Ethan Frost is tall, dark, muscular, tattooed surfer as well as generous, smart, and thinks of others and just himself. He's not what you would except when you think of a CEO and definitely not what Chloe expects when she first meets him. Over and over again Chloe makes it clear that she just doesn't want anything from Ethan but Ethan doesn't take no for an answer.
As much as I enjoyed this book I will have to say beware because it does end on a cliffhanger and will make you wonder what is going to happen next, at least for me it did.

Beautiful Broken Promises By: Kimberly Lauren

(N) This is the third book in the Broken series and this book focuses on Lane Parker. Lane has secrets, secrets that even his best and closest friends don't know about. Secrets that he's been keeping long before ever meeting Aubrey. Although Lane appears to be strong and have things going for him on the inside he's drowning in his sorrows and knows no way of getting out of it. Then after four years of waiting and searching Lane finally gets the call that he has been waiting for. Lane is finally reacquainted with his world once again.
As soon as I read the sample for this book I wasn't sure if it would live up to the first two books in the series and it's sad to say that I was right. This book took me longer to read than the others in the series and I just couldn't get into it the same way as the last two. That is not to say that you shouldn't read it, if you loved Lane in Beautiful Broken Mess and want to read his story then you should give it a try.

Light My Fire By: Christie Rideway

(N) This is the first book in the Rock Royalty series, the name Rock Royalty comes from the Rolling Stones magazine who years ago named the nine children of the most famous rock band in the world 'Rock Royalty.' Now these nine princes and princesses of rock are all grown up and moving back to L.A. the catch is that none of them really communicate with each other even with their own siblings themselves.
Cilla Maddox the youngest of the Rock Royalty is back in the old home she grew up in trying to organize the costume collection that Gwen, the nine's caregiver left her when she passed on. One morning Cilla wakes up to find Ren Colson, another one of the Rock Royalty sharing her bed. Cilla comes up with a plan to make Ren someone that she's always wanted hers.
Ren is back in L.A. leaving his home and business behind in London and going home for a few days after Gwen died. Ren wasn't expecting to find Cilla in their old home when he came back home nor did he expect to find her as a bed mate when he awoke the next morning. The last time Ren saw Cilla she was just a young teenager, years younger than him but now she's all grown up and making it very hard for Ren to think straight. Ren knows that Cilla deserves better than the man he is but cannot seem to help himself in the slightest to stay away from her.
I found that this book was just okay, not good not great but just okay. But if this book does sound like something you would want to read then give it a shot. I can only speak for myself when I say that this book was just not for me.

Fallen Fourth Down By:Tijan

(N) This is the fourth book in the Fallen Crest Series and it's another hit for Tijan.  There were so many twists and turns throughout the book that you don''t know what to expect. The biggest twist of all comes towards the end of the book and the drama is only just beginning when this story ends and we have to wait for the next book in the series to see what happens next.
Mason and Nate are leaving both Sam and Logan behind at Fallen Crest High and are off at college. Mason is now living in a house with the rest of the football team and Nate is living in a house with his fraternity brothers, something he is doing to try and branch out and away from Mason. Things go haywire when Nate's fraternity President, Sebastian wants Mason as a best friend and Mason wants nothing to do with him.
Sam has been distancing herself from Logan since Tate told her that Logan was in love with her at the end of the last book. Sam knows that if she tells Mason the truth than there's a good chance that Mason will choose Logan over Sam and she will be left all alone once again. That is because Sam knows that Mason will never let another girl come between him and Logan again.
Along with keeping this mess from Logan and Mason there's new drama on the horizon for this Fearsome Threesome. An old acquaintance comes back from Sam's past and begins enrolling Fallen Crest Academy. Logan is always off with his girlfriend and when she's not with him she's annoying Sam whether around school or during cross country practice. Mason and Nate's friendship are put to the test when Sebastian won't be denied with having Mason as a friend. And Marissa is back in the picture going to school with Nate and Mason and stirring things up for Sam and Mason's relationship.
This is was yet another hit in the series and one that I would not suggest skipping out on.

Rush Too Far By: Abbi Glines

(N) I know this review is really late considering how long this book has been out but I had to wait until the library would finally give it to me because I was not spending $8 on this book on Amazon now matter how good. At $8 I would be better off just buying the paperback version even though I have all the other books in the series on ebook instead.
We read Blaire's point of view in Fallen Too Far of how her and Rush's romance began and now it's his turn. Rush has a reputation for being a bad boy and has earned every bit of that reputation, sleeping with one girl after another and not giving a s*** about anything other than his brother Grant and his sister Nan. Then Blaire walks into his life and his beach house and this rock star's son life completely changes.
Blaire has live a completely different life than Rush's. Rush has money, a luxury car, a life of girls wanting to be with him, and the envy of all guys at Rosemary Beach. Meanwhile Blaire's been living the country live taking care of her sick mother at home and driving around in a beat-up old pickup truck. When her mother dies and Blaire moves to Rosemary to be with the only family she has left she captures the attention of Rush Finley, someone who vows to keep his distance from an innocent angelic beauty such as Blaire although everything in him just wants to be with her.
Rush has every reason to stay away from Blaire considering he's the reason her father walked out of her and her mother so many years ago and why now she's all alone. And he knows that if he gets to close to her it would destroy one of the few people he cares about, Nan, who has her own connection to Blaire. With all of these things working against him Rush still cannot help but want to be with Blaire.
In the end it turns out that saving my money turned out to be a good thing. I have been in love with this series since the beginning and could not wait until this book came out. We were finally going to be able to see things from Rush's point of view. With that being said it took me forever to finish this book which I was really upset about. I don't know if it was because with this book I was reading the paperback and with the others in the series they were all on Kindle or what but this book just took me forever to finish. All with taking so long this book really wasn't what I thought it would be.

Noah By: Elizabeth Reyes

(N) This is the first book in the 5th Street Book series and was yet another book that I got for free on Amazon and by now I've noticed a pattern with free books from Amazon. I either hate the book and don't even try to finish it or I love the book and then have to contemplate on if I should get the next book in the series and continue on from there. In the case of this book Noah it was the latter, although there were times when I skimmed through a few pages for the most part I read the whole thing and enjoyed it.
Veronica Cruz, a.k.a Roni to all her friends has been through more than her fair share of sorrows. Roni's been away from the world for two years taking care of her dying mother she now's unemployed single, after he boyfriend left her not being able to deal with all that's going on in her life,  overweight, and feeling older than her twenty-eight years. When her best friend Nellie get two tickets for a weeks worth of free training she coaxes Roni to come along with her to get her out of her depression and make Roni start feeling better about herself. There she meets Noah her assigned trainer and someone who supports and motivates Roni to become better. Noah is everything Roni as every wanted in a guy he's respectful, good looking, loyal, and close to his friends and extended family. There is just one problem, Noah's eight years younger than Roni and the last thing she expected was that he would fall in love with her.
Noah Quintanilla has his eye on a boxing title but due to an injury he's been out for a few months and he's finally getting the opportunity to train someone something he's been waiting for for a long time. The problem is his trainee is an out of shape woman with a free pass for a week. Noah's job is to get her to want to come back after her free week is up and then he can become a full-time trainer at the gym. Somewhere along the way Noah stumbles into one of the closest friendships that he's ever had and before he knows what to do he's fallen in love. But Roni wants nothing to do with having an intimate relationship with Noah not when the age difference between them is so big. But being friends with Roni means watching other guys put the move on her and not being able to speak up about it, something that is driving him crazy. Noah sets out to prove to Roni that age isn't anything but just a number and that he is who she should be with.

Zeus By: Kamery Solomon

(N) This is the first book in The God Chronicles series, I got this book for free from Amazon so I wasn't really expecting much from it but it's nice to say that I was pleasantly surprised with how good this book actually was.
Zeus has been banished from Mount Olympus by the Gods and the Fates for nine years after breaking his vows with his wife Hera and sleeping around behind her back. Zeus will have to live on Earth with no way of getting home, no way to contact the other Gods, and will not be able to use any of his powers. The only way to return home and have his powers returned to him is for Zeus to fall in love with a mortal girl and for her to love him back with all of her heart.
Karly has just moved out of her parent's house and is now on her way to Vegas to go to art school. Vegas is never where Karly imagined being with parents like hers who made her watch endless CSI episodes and put in into her head that that's what going to happen to her if she leaves. On a night out with her roommates Karly meet Zeus Drakos. Zeus is the owner of a new hit casino and resort which interior is based off of Mount Olympus. And when Karly first meets Zeus she thinks that he is kind of a jerk but as time goes on the two begin to grow closer.
Like I said this book was a surprisingly good read and something that I would definitely want to read again. Although there may be some time before I begin reading the rest of the series I would for sure recommend this book for anyone to read.

Dark Frame By: Iris Blaire

(N) This book is the second book in the East Park series,  Evan is off to Harvard and with being so far away she from East Park she decides to quit East Park Exposure. But when the new owner A.J. Harrison calls Evan up and offers her fifty thousand dollars if she agrees to do one more issue, the Halloween issue Evan is back to modeling and back to being Rylan Willow. And when A.J. doesn't like any of her shoots with the new male models Evan will have to shoot with Dallas, the guy she broke up with when he went to work on his research in Costa Rica and Evan thinks that all their relationship was based on was nothing more than lust and lies.
Much like Evan's modeling A.J. is unhappy with the way to photo shoots are going and with each dismiss Britain is becoming more unhappy and less inspired. Under the reign of A.J. Britain's artistic view of East Park Exposure is gone and the issue is becoming more and more Halloween-themed S&M  and something none of the models are comfortable shooting.
It was nice getting to read from Britain's point of view in this story but having said that this book was nowhere near as good as the first book (Exposure) in the series. If you like the first book and want to continue with the series then I say go ahead and read this but if you are unsure I say maybe wait awhile before reading this book or not read this book at all.

One Chance By: T. Renee Fike

(N) Haley has always felt as though she was living in the shadow of her identical twin sister Kenzie. Wanting to get out of her shadow and be her own person Haley decides to go to a different college one away from her sister. Now at college Haley is her own person and has set her sights on Liam, a guy she's known her whole life and the one that she has always wanted. So Haley takes a chance and does something that changes her whole life.
Liam Masters, is the quarterback to his college football team, he is known to many as stubborn, cocky, gorgeous and someone who you don't want to get on his bad side. Liam has always gotten what he wants that is until he finds out that Haley a girl he has known forever used him. Now torn and shattered by what has happened he decides to make Haley feels just as bad as he does. Only one person knows the truth about everything and just how bad these two care about each other her name is Quinn and she's Haley's best friend and roommate and Quinn does what she can to make things right.
I really didn't know what to expect from this book and it turned out to be really good and I managed to finish this whole book in a day.  I would defiantly recommend this book for anyone to read.

First and Forever By: Alyssa Rose Ivy

(N) This is the fourth book in the Crescent Chronicles Series and is told through Levi's point of view. This book is two separate books, First which I have already blogged about and Forever which picks up where First leaves off. With Levi showing Allie who he really is and ends just where Flight did with Levi and Allie at their engagement party and Allie telling Levi that she doesn't love him.
I really hope that the author decides to finish writing the whole series from Levi's point of view because this series just gets better with each book. In this book you get to see even more how much Levi cares for Allie. You get to understand more of why Levi decided to give Allie the ring when he did and the reason behind it.
At the end of this book there is a short bonus story called the Royal Wedding. In this short story the point of view switches back and forth between Allie and Levi on their wedding day and the beginning of their honeymoon together. We get to read about both Allie and Levi's emotions on their magical day and the beginning of the rest of their lives.

Beautiful Oblivion By: Jaime McGuire

(N) This is the first book in the Maddox Brothers Series, this book focus on Trenton Maddox and Camille (Cami). We briefly met Trenton in Beautiful Disaster during the family poker game and Thanksgiving dinner as well as Trenton was the one to look after Abbey at Travis' fight the night of the fire.
Cami tends a bar at The Red Door with her best friend/roommate. Besides work Cami doesn't have much time for anything else expect for classes and homework. When her boyfriend T.J cancels on coming home to visit her from California again Cami goes out and ends up starting to spend time Trenton. Cami believes that she can Trenton can just be friends and nothing more but as the two grow closer and the line between friends and something more become thinner Cami doesn't want to be the reason that Trenton and his family break apart.
Trenton was the king of Eastern State University, he had guys wanting to be him and girls wanting to be with him. Then after a tragic accident Trenton leaves school and moves back in with his father left to deal with his guilt. Months after the accident Trenton is working full-time at a tattoo shop and still living at home with his widow father. Just as life is starting to return back to normal Trenton sees Cami sitting alone at the Red Door and from there his life becomes anything but normal.
What was interesting about the book was that it started before Travis met Abby so we were able to get a look at their relationship from a third party's perspective from when Travis first talked about meeting Abby, to the break-up, and their getting married in Vegas. Another thing that I thought was interesting that I don't know if anyone else realized was how easy it was to figure out who T.J. was from the beginning. I mean it was pretty obvious as to why he was always referred to as T.J. and not his full name and only a few people had actually saw T.J. and knew what he looked like. Needless to say I was not surprised at the ending when it was revealed who T.J. was. Overall this was a good book and something I would recommend reading if you liked both Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster but that being said I would still have to say that my favorite story is still Abby and Travis' story.

Allure By: Lacey Weatherford

(N) Allure was a good book not a great book but a good book. It is a book about two people Six, a twenty-two year old tattoo artist by day and an exotic dancer by night and seventeen year old Brooklyn trying to be together dispute their age difference and Brooklyn's father, the mayor. This book is definitely something that I would recommend to anyone to read as it was something that I found interesting and worth continuing to read as a series. Again it just wasn't something that I would call my favorite but that doesn't mean that it should't be read.
Brooklyn has had her eye on Six for a while now but there's a problem, Brooklyn is sure that Six doesn't know she exists. Six is a friend of Brooklyn's older brother and the two have never officially met before. Brooklyn can't seem to let him go even though he's been in a relationship for months, or so she thinks.
Six has had a thing for Brooklyn since he first laid eyes on her when she was just sixteen. But after finding out her age Six decides to steer clear from Brooklyn and the possibility of the two of them being together until she's eighteen. Six had successfully kept his distance from Brooklyn until one night when Brooklyn walks into the tattoo shop Six works at and asks him to give her a tattoo illegally. After that things come crumbling down and the two of them begin a romance one kept from her family because Brooklyn knows what could happen to Six if her father ever found out about the two of them being together.

Fall From India Place By: Samantha Young

(N) This is the fourth book in the On Dublin Street series and as much as I love this series this book just did not do it for me. This book focused on the ups and downs of Hannah and Marco and their friendship turned relationship. Throughout the book the time jumps between the present and the past. Through the past jumps we see how Hannah and Marco friendship coma about and how it came to be what it is now, with the two no longer friends and Hannah wanting nothing to do with Marco. I think the reason as to why I did not enjoy this book as much is because of the time jumps because time jumps have never really been a thing that peaked my interests. But I would still recommend this book if you are a fan of the series and do not mind a little time jumping.
When we first see Hannah she is a school teacher and hasn't seen or heard from Marco since he broke her heart five years ago. Marco is the only boy that Hannah has ever loved and after one night of giving into her feelings for him and being with Marco he took off leaving both Hannah and Scotland behind. Heartbroken and shattered after what happened that night and the consequences that came with it Hannah has never really moved on and hasn't been the same with her family or anyone since.
Leaving Hannah behind is something that Marco has always regretted doing even after five years. When Macro reunites with Hannah at a mutual friend's wedding Marco refuses to leave Hannah behind again. Macro is determined to get Hannah back and is doing so by reminding her of what they once had and could have again. And just when Hannah finally begins to trust Marco again she discovers an earth shattering secret that he has been hiding and suddenly Hannah can not see them having a future together.

Let Me Love You By: Megan Smith

(N) This is the fourth book in The Love Series and this story is Cooper and Jaylinn's story. What can I say about this story, well first off I can say that I couldn't really get into this book as much as the books I have previously read in the series. And it may just be that I favor MacKenzie and Hunter's relationship more than the other in the series but this just wasn't as interesting as their story and was tougher to follow.
Jaylinn is determined to forget one horrible night which left her having nightmares and screaming out every night in fear. There is only one person who knows what happened that night and that is the one person that can take all of her pain away. But he is determined to keep Jaylinn at arms length. Jaylinn has loved Cooper her whole life but she doesn't know if he'll ever be able to forget what happened to her and just love her.
Cooper has loved Jaylinn for years and wants to help her put the pieces back together after the incident. As much as Jaylinn wants to take her and Cooper's relationship to the next level Cooper feels as though he is unworthy of Jaylinn. And when Cooper has to choose between her baseball and Jaylinn all becomes lost and Cooper doesn't know if he'll ever be able to have again what he once lost.

The Assistant By: Elle Brace

(N) Although this book was a good book and I would recommend it to anyone it did has it points towards the end where it felt as though the book was dragging on but for the most part this book was really good and definitely something that I will read again and would recommend any one to read.
Emily Johnson is in need go a job. What she isn't in need for is 25-year old billionaire Adrian Kingston, the world's most eligible bachelor and Emily's new boss. Adrian is known for being difficult and expects Emily to work late nights and early morning for him as his new assistant.     Adrian has some mornings when he has women coming in and out of his office all day one right after the other. It is as though he could never get enough of women and when he's not spending time with all of those with he is sending off sexual innuendos and flirtations Emil's way. But Emily wants nothing to do with Adrian and his demanding workload and all of those jealous girls that come and go from his office. But Adrian wants Emily whose nothing like his usual type. He wants the one girl who always says no to him.

Take A Chance By: Abbi Glines

(N) So I waited forever to start reading this book even though it's been on my kindle for months and in the end I am glad that I did because this book was no where near as good as the books in the Too Far series. When I first read the tidbit on how Harlow and Grant felt about each other in Forever Too Far I was interested in seeing what happened next but by the time the book came out and I had read the sample of it I wasn't really sure how I felt. Now with having finished reading the book I can say that although I loved the Too Far series I don't feel the same way about this series.
In the beginning of the book we find that Harlow is living in Rosemary Beach with Nan while their father is once again out on tour with his rock band. But the problem with living in Rosemary Beach with Nan is that Nan hates Harlow. The other problem, Grant who has spelt with Nan and a guy that Harlow wants nothing to do with. But Harlow can't seem to escape Grant.
Grant made a huge mistake when he slept with Nan and he regrets it now more than ever when he begins to have feeling for Nan's half-sister Harlow. No matter how hard he tries Grant cannot resist Harlow who makes his pulse races every time he sees her. Grant is desperate to make Harlow see that he's not the guy she makes him out to be.

Mason By: Tijan

(N) I have been in love with the Fallen Crest series since the beginning, growing more in love with the series with each book and this book was no different. I loved getting inside Mason's head and seeing things that we have never seen before with the other books in the series. I loved reading more about the relationship between Mason and Logan and just how close the two of them really are. The fact the Logan considers Mason his father and that Mason practically raised Logan speaks volumes to how close the two of them are and how horrible their parents were in raising them.
Unsurprisingly was seeing how right away Mason did not like Analise and knew that she was bad news from the very beginning. But what was probably one of the best parts of the book was during the last chapter of the book when Mason sees Sam for the first time and is immediately taken with her. I really hope that Tijan decides to make a Fallen Crest High from Mason's point of view because reading this only made me want to read more from Mason's perspective and see how he looked at things during Fallen Crest High.

A Beautiful Wedding By: Jamie McGuire

(N) I loved reading Beautiful Disaster but did not like reading Walking Disaster so when this book came out I was on the fence about reading it because I knew that it could go either way so I held off on reading it. I have finally read this book and it was upsetting to read this book and learn that that Abby didn't actually want to marry Travis as much as she wanted to marry him in order to give him an alibi for the night of the fire. It was as though  the author had ruined the relationship between Abby and Travis because the reason behind their wedding would forever be a lie between Abby and Travis. I hate how Abby never comes clean to Travis about the reason she asked him to marry her even after years of being together like it showed in Walking Disaster. What was also interesting was finding out that Abby did tell someone about her plans to marry Travis after she asked him and he kept the truth from Travis as well. For those who are fans of these books I suggest not reading this book and just waiting for the next book in the series to come out.

The One By: Kiera Cass

(N) This is the final book in The Selection series and I'm sad to see this story come to an end but at the same time this series is ready to come to an end. I read this story in a whole day, every time I wanted to stop reading I just could not out it down something kept me reading.
That being said the story was good but not great although I am happy with whom America choose to end up with I am not happy with the book as a whole. It is now down to the final few and the possibility is even bigger than before that America could be the next Queen of Illea. America has finally made her chose and she is going to fight in order to stay in the competition and be with Maxon. But throughout the story America struggles with trying to keep out of trouble so that the King won't send her home before Maxon can chose her as his bride.
It seems as though this series could have gone a number of ways for the storyline and conclusion. And the way that was chosen is one that I did not necessarily like. The story felt as though it was rushed and as if the author was trying to sum up everything in into this last book in as few pages as possible with little or no connection to things seen in the previous books. It also felt as though this book was all over the place. But if you are a fan of the series I suggest reading this book and seeing for yourself how this series ends.

Before Jamaica Lane By: Samantha Young

(N) Another hit for Samantha Young. It took me forever to start reading this book but once I started reading I could to put it down. This book is the third book in the Dublin Street series and this story focused on Nate and Olivia's story.
Nate is a gorgeous player who never commits to any woman, he leaves these women before things can ever get serious. Nate is best friends with Olivia and they are closer than friends, Nate has a key to her apartment and stops by all the time where they watch movies together and play 'would you rather.'
We met Olivia in the last book who is the daughter of Jo and Cole's uncle. Olivia's father raised her later in life after being introduced for the first time when she was in her teenage years. Olivia has never really felt comfortable with herself or found herself attractive. So when she develops a crush on Ben, a postgraduate student who frequents the library she works at Olivia can't help but get all tongue-tied every time he talks to her. Needing help Olivia turns to Nate who offers to teach her lessons in the art of feeling comfortable in her skin and getting what she wants.
Things heat up when these two start the lessons and what was once a friendly lesson in seduction turns into an intense relationship that is kept hidden from their friends. Just when things start to get good Nate's past issues with commitment come up and they leave Olivia brokenhearted and without the company of her best friend. By the time Nate realizes his mistake it may be too late and his best friend Olivia may have already moved on and might not believe Nate when he tells Olivia that his feelings for her are real.

Fallen Crest Alternate Version By: Tijan

(N) This is an alternative version to the second book in the Fallen Crest series. When I first heard that there was going to be a second Fallen Crest book I looked it up to see if I could find out when it was going to be released and that's when I found the first few beginning chapters of the book online. But it wasn't until Fallen Crest Family came out and I read it that I was a little confused. I was confused because what I was reading in this book was not what I had read months ago instead what I had read was the beginning of this book a story that ended up being completely different.

This book was originally supposed to be the second book to the Fallen Crest Series but was later scrapped and was replaced with Fallen Crest Family. When I originally read Fallen Crest Family I was upset that the beginning chapters that I had read months before were not in this book but after reading this book I have to say that I'm glad that Tijan choose to do  Fallen Crest Family instead because it was a much better storyline. I cannot imagine how different the third and now fourth books would have been if Sam didn't change schools, there was no Heather, and Sam heard about Logan's feelings for her straight from the source. All and all this was a good book and if you are a fan of this series than I recommend reading this book just for fun and seeing how different everything would have been if this book was published as the second book in the series instead.

WIld Wolf (Shifters Unbound #6) By: Jennifer Ashley

(N) This is the sixth book in the Shifter Unbound series, Graham McNeil knows that he has to take the next step to get his pack under control, and that's finding a mate. Graham lost his first mate a long time ago along with his pup and has since then he has tried to keep his heart in check. Then Misty, his girlfriend and a human came along. Misty is someone who Graham does not want to let go but he's in charge of an old fashioned pack and they want him to mate with another shifter not a human.

Misty is going through her own problems, her brother is out of prison but not everyone is happy about it. This leads to Misty getting kidnapped and Graham coming to her rescue. But in doing so he puts himself at risk as well as the rest of his wolves.

I am in love with the Shifters Unbound series but I have to say that this book was not as good as the other books in the series but it was still a good book and a great series. This book took a little longer to get into and through. There were some chapters more than others when I really couldn't get into the book. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't read this book it does have some interesting points in it. This book and this series are worth reading.

Forever with You By: Laurelin Pagie

(N) This book is the last book in the Fixed trilogy and I have to say that this book was nowhere near as good as the first two books in the trilogy. Although I did finish this book it was not nearly as fast as when I finished reading the first two books in this trilogy. It also took me forever before I finally started being able to get into the book. And when it came time to reveal just what Hudson was keeping from Alayna this whole time it did not seem to be as much of a surprise that I thought it would be.
in this book Alayna and Husdon decided to move forward in their relationship and to be more open and honest with each other after the drama that happened in Found In You involving Celia and the two keeping things from each other. But things start to fall apart when Alayna realizes that Hudson is keeping things from her and does not know if she can trust him like he asks her to.

Play By: Kylie Scott

(N) This book is the second book in the Stage Dive series and this book is about drummer Mal Ericson and Anne Rollins. Anne came home to find her roommate gone and now she is left to deal with paying rent on her own. Anna nows that with paying rent on her own she will have money problems that is until she gets an offer to be a pretend girlfriend to Mal a guy whose pictures she used to have all over her bedroom walls as a teenager and someone she never thought that she'd actually meet in person. Mal needs to clean up his image for a little while, then he meets good girl Anna who he knows would do a good job as his pretend girlfriend and helping him clean up his act.
After reading this book I have to say that it was nowhere near as good as the first book in this series. Although it is not a great as the first book in the series I say that if you really want to read this book then you should read it and give it a try for yourself. But if you're on the fence about it then I consider not really bothering with reading it and just wait for the next book in the series.

Avenger By: Micalea Smeltzer

(N) It's seems like I have been waiting forever for the last book in the Outsider series to come out and finally it's here!! Sophie and Caeden should been having this time of their lives, they're newly married and expecting their first child. But the threat of Travis is still out there and they both know that they are in for one hell of a fight.
I can say that this book was well worth the wait and I'm sad to see this story come to an end. Although I am sad to see this book end the author did a great job of putting everything together and ending the series on a good note. If you haven't read the series yet then I suggest that you do.

Someone Unexpected By:Ashley Blake

(N) When I first read the sample of this book I thought it would be an interesting story but was still a little unsure. So I looked up reader's ratings and comments for the book and most people thought this book was either ok or not worth reading. So I took this into consideration and decided not to read the book but weeks later it was still on my mind. So I reread the sample and this time I decided just to buy the book. The last book that I have read by this author readers had said that it was no good but I really enjoyed it so I took a chance and I loved this book.
Elena Sumner moved to Miami after college and threw herself into her work trying to forgot about her abusive ex-boyfriend from high school who has been doing time in prison since their senior year. Even from prison he continues to taunt her by sending her letters. Elena works at Blu Miami, a luxury 6 star hotel. Elena spends all of her time thinking about her work and the last thing she's thinking about is men that is until she meet Sebastian Blu. Sebastian Blu is a rich, gorgeous, playboy billionaire and owner of Blu Miami as well as a bunch of other Blu hotels along with how siblings. Sebastian is used to getting what he wants and what he wants is Elena. When Elena finally decides to give Sebastian a chance unforeseen situations complicate their relationship and Elena isn't sure that her and Sebastian can have a relationship together.
Although there were some people that did not enjoy this book I say give it a shot I did. I found this book quiet enjoyable, something I will read again and maybe you will too.

The Rocker Babies By: Terri Anne Browning

(N) This is the sixth book in the Rocker series and in this book everyone's story is told. And yet again I could not put this book down. I stayed up as late as I could reading before I had to force myself to go to bed and the next morning I started reading again right away. I was so happy to find out that the book was released a few days early.
Each chapter switches to a different characters point of view and every character has there own thing going on. But with so much going on and the point of views changes it is easy to keep track of everything that is going on throughout the book. You will not be disappointed while  reading this book.
No one is left out of this book you hear from Nik, Emmie, Drake, Lana, Shane, Harper, Jesse, and Layla we even get to see how things are from Dallas and Axton point of view, whose relationship we will be reading about in the next book of the series. Axton is chasing Dallas and Dallas does not want anything to do with him because due to some miscommunication Dallas thinks that Auxton keeps running back to his old girlfriend.
Nik and Emmie have their daughter but soon the two get a little surprise of their own that throws them both for a loop. Emmie is still working herself to the bone with now adding a few more bands to her list to manage.
Drake and Lana are expecting their first child together and Drake is still doing his show in New York but Lana is convinced that one of the assistants on the show wants her husband.
Jesse and Layla have so many things to worry about in this book. There's the expectations of their twins as well as some health problems that Lana is receiving from the pregnancy. But that is just the tip of the ice burg, Lucy's biological father is back in the picture and he wants her all for himself. But unlike Lana and Layla's dad Lucy's dad is not a rocker but a real monster.
Shane and Harper finally have their wedding and it was great but towards the end of the book they have their own drama to worry about.

Nothing Left To Lose By:Kirsty Moseley

(N) This is yet another book that I got for free and was a little on the fence on whether or not I would actually like it or finish the book considering that it was a little over 500 pages. But again I was pleasantly surprised by how good this book was and it was because of how good this book was that I managed to finish it in three days.
Annabelle had a life that anyone  would want but that all changed on the day of her sixteenth birthday. That was the day that she watched her boyfriend Jack got murdered right in front of her eyes and then was kept kidnapped for ten months by Jack's killer, Carter Thomas a big time drug and arms dealer.  Ten months are being kept away Anna is a completely different person, one who suffers from horrible night terrors, has tried multiple times to kill herself, and seems to be just a hollow figure of the girl she once was.
(May contain spoilers)   Three years later Carter is serving time for the murder of Jack but a retrial in coming up soon because of some evidence appears to have been tampered with. And unbeknownst to Anna she has been receiving letters from Carter, these letters come once a week. They are both letters of death threats as well as letters telling her that Carter wants her back. In order to keep her safe and make sure that she stays out of trouble Ashton, a newly SWAT agent is brought in to go undercover and pose as Anna's boyfriend until the end of the trial in eight months.
I did not want to put this book down for anything. It was one of those books that got you right from the beginning. I loved that with Ashton Anna was able to finally let someone in and be able to feel something for someone, something she never thought she would feel again. With Ashton's help Anna begins to let go of the fears that she has had for so long. You could not help but feel for Ashton and Anna's relationship and want them to last after the eight months were up and it was no longer Ashton job to protect Anna.

Thin White Line By: J.A. Templeton

(N) This is another book that I got for free and was not expecting to enjoy but again was actually pleasantly surprised when I began reading. While reading this book I could not put it down and now that it's over I want to read the next installment in this series. This is a book that I will definitely read again and an author that I will be on the look out for to see what they come up with next.
Kenzie had a great life in California you could almost call it picture perfect that was until her father left Kenzie'a mom and her family for a younger woman. After her father leaves Kenzie goes from living a posh life and going to private school to moving to Washington with her mom, going to public school and living in a small apartment. On Kenzie's first day of school she is reunited with her cousin Brooke who she hasn't seen in years. Brooke is completely different than when Kenzie last saw her, Brooke is lead singer in a popular rock band and now does drugs.
Soon Kenzie follows her cousin into her world and does things she never thought she would. Things that involve drugs, rock concerts, and bad boy rockers. In Brooke's band there are to different guys that have caught Kenzie's attention hot and notorious womanizer Ryder, and straight laced, tattooed, and pierced Deklan. Even though Ryder is who Kenzie is with she cannot keep her eyes off of Deklan.

Forgive Me By: Ashley Beale

(Nicole)   Lexi was forced to leave her home and live with her grandma ten years ago and hasn't return since, until now. When she does come home she is not alone and her family is more than a little surprised by who Lexi has brought back with her. Lexi now has to explain why at only 24 years old she has a nine year old son that unbeknownst to her no one knew about. Along with telling her family Lexi has to come up with the courage to tell Zander that he has a son that he never knew about and she has to do it before he gets married in two weeks. To make matters worse her feelings for him have never changed and she still loves him even after all these years, in the end she has to decide if she wants to stay in Texas with her family or go back to Ohio to live with her grandma.

When I first read this book it was just the sample of it and it sounded really good so I brought the book right away. It was because I brought this book that I forced myself to read through the whole book just so that I got my money's worth of it. Up until about half way through the book is when I would guess that the book started to become boring and the more I read the more I just really wanted it to end. So I can say that this is a book that I really would not recommend or read again.

Beautiful Broken Mess By:Kimberly Lauren

(Nicole) This book is the second book in the Broken series. Beautiful Broken Mess is Audrey and Jace's story. Audrey's dated Jaxon years ago and it ended horribly and because of that Jace (Jaxon's identical twin) tries to put his feelings aside for Audrey. But there comes a point when Jace sees Audrey again and all of those feelings come back and soon he has to decide if his feelings for Audrey are worth the backlash he could receive from his brother and family.

Growing up Audrey didn't have the best home life. Despite having such a bad home life Audrey doesn't give up and deal with the cards that she has been dealt instead as soon as she graduates from high school she moves away from her home to California.  There she meets Lane her now best friend and the two of them end up going to school at the same place as the one guy that she has always loved and the one guy who could end up breaking her heart.

You first meet Audrey in Beautiful Broken Rules and when we do our initial thoughts about her is that she's trouble and a character that no one would not like. But that changes with this story. In a Beautiful Broken Mess we get more of a back story with Audrey and she why she went to visit Jaxon. I'll admit when I first saw that this book was about Jace and Audrey I was not really excited to read it because I really didn't like Audrey's character in Beautiful Broken Mess but I'm glad that I finally broke down and read this book because I really enjoyed it.

Vampire Most Wanted (Argeneau #20) By:Lynsay Sands

(Nicole) Vampire Most Wanted is book 20 in the Argeneau series, I gave this book a 3 out of 5. Basha Argeneau,  now going by Madame Divine, Divine for short has been on the run from her family for over two millenniums. Divine has been hiding out in carnivals as a fortune teller. She is doing anything to stay under the radar from her Uncle Lucian who she believes wants her dead.
Marcus Notte is new to working in the carnival world but he's not here to stay. Marcus has a job to do, he has been asked by Lucian Argeneau to find out if Divine is Basha Argeneau and if she is than bring her in for questioning. But along the way Marcus comes to realize that Divine isn't the person that Lucian thinks she is.
I gave this book a 3 because I have read many books in the Argeanau series and it is sad to say but this book did not keep me as interested as previous books in the series had. Although that is not to say that you shouldn't read this book because you should I just mean that usually I cannot put these books down where as this one I could.

Bet In The Dark By:Rachel Higginson

(Nicole) I first started reading this book because I got it for free. Although before I even started reading this book I was a little skeptic because I have read a lot of free books and most of them were not worth reading let alone finishing and that's how I thought this reading would be. But it is nice to say that I was way off with this book. The book started off kind of slow but soon became a book that I just could not put down.

In Bet in the Dark Ellie Harris wanted a life away from her overbearing parents and older brothers. She just broke up with her high school boyfriend who cheated on her and who Ellie followed to college. Ellie's luck gets even worse when her roommate steal her identity, sells her furniture, and leaves town with no warning and two months worth of back rent. Then Ellie meets Fin who insists that she owes him seven thousand dollars from an online poker game. Fin gives her six weeks to pay up, Ellie agrees to work for Fin in order to pay him back for money she doesn't have and a debt that isn't even hers. Soon Ellie develops feelings for Fin and will either have to pay the debt which isn't hers or take the chance that her feelings are worth money than the money owed.

The Billionaire's Kiss By:Avery James

(Nicole) I have to say that I really could not get into this book at all. I don't know if it was because of the fact that this is book 2 of the Scandal, Inc series and I didn't ready the first one or what. But I really just couldn't get into this book. Normally I wait until the first few chapters and if I can't get into it then I just stop reading the book all together but because I if hash't gotten my attention by then then it probably won't sometime later in the book. But because I had actually brought this book I wanted to read the whole thing and see if it just got better sometime during the second half of the book because that has happened to me before so I thought that it might happen again. But after reading all the way through to the end I can safely say that this book did not appeal to me in the slightest. I tried to give it my full attention and really get into it and I just couldn't.

First By:Alyssa Rose Ivy

(Nicole) This book is a prequel novella to the Crescent Chronicles Series and I absolutely loved it! I wanted to read so much more than the book actually had in it. First, is a shorter version of Flight but this time it is told from Levi's point of view and only goes up to the point where Levi tells Allie what he really is. It was interesting to read more about his life before he met Allie and what his true feelings were for Allie from the moment he first saw her. There isn't anything that I could say was wrong with this book expect for that fact that the ending came far too soon for my liking. I know that it is a novella but I would have loved it if this novella was instead a whole book in Levi's perspective.

The Rocker That Holds Her By: Terri Anne Browning

(Nicole) Another great book for Terri Anne Browning! She is one of my top authors! The Rocker That Holds Her is in Nik's point of view, this is book 5 in the Rocker Series. It was interesting to see Nik's perspective of things from the first time he met Emmie to seeing her walking down the aisle on their wedding day. Like every other book in the series I could not put this one down. For those of you who think that this book is just like The Rocker That Holds Me just in Nik's perspective it really isn't. In this book you get to read see more of Nik's background than in The Rocker That Holds Me and so much more. You read about how much Nik truly cares for Emmie and just how far he feelings for her go back. From Nik feelings of brotherly love for Emmie to so much more.

Through Nik's story you just fall more in love with him and see all the things that he had to over come in order to finally have Emmie by his side. If you have not read this series then you should really start reading them because this is one great series!

The Rocker That Loves Me By: Terri Anne Browning

(Nicole) Another great book for the series. The Rocker That Loves Me is Shane and Harper's story. I could not put this book down and finished it within two days. Shane and Harper's story pulls you in just like all of the books in the series. Shane is a rock n roll star who basically sleeps with every girl who throws themselves at him. But when he meets Harper that is when things start to change for him.

Harper is a girl who just does not realize how beautiful she really is after hearing for so many years that she isn't from her mother and step-sister. When Shane starts showing interest in Harper she does not believe that he could really find "someone like her" attractive. Both of the have to get over their own issues before they can truly be together drama free.

This couple is a couple that really plays on the whole thing of opposite attracts. Shane brings out the sexier side of Harper. While Harper brings out the softer side of Shane and is able to help him face his demons that he has kept hidden for so long. Although this book does overlap with some scenes from the last book it is a book worth reading!

Fallen Crest Public by:Tijan

(Nicole) OMG!!! I loved this book it was amazing although I didn't expect anything less from Tijan because I am completely in love with the Fallen Crest High Series. One thing that I especially loved about this book is that the book was told in both from Sam's point of view as well as Mason's point of view. It was interesting to get his perspective of things and made you look at things in a different life. We are finally able to see how much Mason truly cares about Sam and made you love this couple even more. Throughout the course of this whole book I did not/could not put it down for anything.

The book begins with it being Sam's first day at Fallen Crest Public and of course nothing goes well. The top girls at school make it impossible for Sam's first day to go by smoothly as well as the rest of the girls at Sam's school. The girls in Sam's school don't like her because she's dating Mason and they want  him for themselves. The only friend that Sam really has is Heather and throughout this book their friendship is tested because of the top girls and Sam gets to see if she can truly count on Heather as a true friend. But their relationship isn't the only one that gets tested in the book.
