Douche By: Chloe Plume

(N) Madison Pierce's life is on track and she is doing exactly what her dad expects from her. Madison is back home in L.A. for the summer before starting at Standford in the fall. Madison will be spending the summer doing an internship at her father's company something she knows will make her dad happy. Madison is ready to be home for the summer that is until she sees Zayde, or who now goes by Zayden. Zayden Knight is the bad boy pop star at the moment and he is also Madison's step-brother. Zayden is everything that Madison cannot stand he is an egotistical womanizer who only looks out for himself. Zayden is hot and he knows it and is someone who Madison shouldn't be with but she cannot seem to get him out of her head and be there for him when no one else is.
Zayden Knight is trouble, he's gotten himself into bad publicity one too may times and now has to spend the summer at his step-father's house. This summer Zayden has to try and improve his image to the world and be the guy that millions of parents don't mind their teenage daughters crushing over. But being back at his step-father's place is the last place Zayden wants to be that is until he sees Madison. Madison had changed over the years she's gone from being skinny, frumpy Madison to someone who Zayden cannot seem to stop wanting. Zayden can have any girl of his choosing but for some reason he only wants Madison.
I think that is book was just ok, it wasn't the best book that I have ever read but it certainly was not the worst. I mean I did finish the book and it might be something that I would read again but it's not something that is at the top of my to read again pile. Overall I think that this is a book where if you skip over it it isn't that big of a deal and if you are on the fence about reading it might not be worth it reading at least not right away.
