Anti Stepbrother By: Tijan

(N) Summer Stoltz is a college freshman who has been crushing and pining for her stepbrother, Kevin along with the rest of the girls from her high school for years, long before her father married Kevin's mother. Coming to college meant that Summer could finally have a chance to be with Kevin. But things don't go according to plan, especially when Kevin ends up being a jerk. On her first night Summer ends up at a party where she meets one of Kevin's fraternity brothers, Caden. When Summer first meets Caden she labels him an *sshole. But over time Summer begins to realize that Caden is more than just the arrogant, smug, alpha that he appears to be. When Summer keeps running into Caden he's actually nice to her and Summer's option of Caden begins to change. There's is just something about Caden he's real, honest and isn't one to hold anything back. There more time they spend together the more these two become friends, real genuine friends.
Things between Caden and Summer begin to heat up the more time they spend together. For Caden hanging out with Summer calms him, something that is not easily done. For Summer being with Caden is bringing out a new person, someone who isn't so afraid of being honest. Caden soon realizes that he wants to be with Summer but he is not sure if Summer is really over her stepbrother. Meanwhile Summer does have actual feelings for Caden but convincing him that it has nothing to do with her stepbrother is easier said than done.

This was yet another hit for Tijan. For those of you who don't already know I am a huge fan of Tijan and her Fallen Crest series, and while Anti-Stepbrother is not a part of that series I read this book just because of how much I love this author. And I loved Anti-Stepbrother, in a way Caden kind of reminded me of Mason from the Fallen Crest series in a lot of ways. And this could be one of the reasons why I loved this book so much. But as much as it did remind me of the Fallen Crest series this book was still its own book and it was one that I could not put down. I found myself yet again staying up late at night, longer than I should have been because I just could not put this book down. If your a fan of Tijan or of the Fallen Crest series then this is the book for you.
