(N) Immortal Nights is the latest book in the Argeneau series.
Abigail Forsythe's life hasn't been easy lately. Having just gone through watching her mother die and left with no money and no way to pay to go back to school Abigail decides to catch a flight with her pilot friend when he has to deliver a package to South America. What Abigail didn't expect to happen was finding a naked man locked in the plane's cargo hold. A very gorgeous man locked in a cage and when her instincts prompt her to set the man free the two soon end up having to rely on each other for survival. But this man isn't just any ordinary man, he's a man who leaves her body buzzing with need every time he touches her. Tomasso Notte knows that he's found his life mate in Abigail. Now all he wants to do is hold onto her. But they're miles away from civilization, being hunted by his abductors, and Abigail has no idea who Tomasso is or what his abilities are or why they have such a strong connection. But now that he has her in his sights Tomasso isn't going to let Abigail go.
For most of the books in the Argeneau series I find myself unable to stop reading and always find myself for the most part being interested while reading the whole book. But for Immortal Nights I just could not find myself interested in it. While I did read this book in no time at all it didn't really do anything for me in keeping my attention and I found myself skimming through a lot of parts in the book. I found myself unable to get into Abigail and Tomasso's story and their connection and because of that I couldn't get into this book as a whole. Should you skip this book in the series probably but just fair warning if you do skip this book you might miss some things that may or may not be important for future books in this series.
