Three terms later, an invitation to join Matthew Hamilton's presidential campaign arrives and it's the most thrilling opportunity that Charlotte has ever been a part of. While Charlotte doesn't have experience on her side she does have determination, determination to make a difference. And Matt is determined to win.
Focused on the goal of becoming the next president Matt is ruthless, persuasive, and true. All eyes are on him and his popularity is only growing with each day. With all eyes on Matt he has to stay focused on the election, focused and single. But Matt isn't making it easy for Charlotte on keeping their relationship strictly professional and despite the risk if the two are caught together, neither can resist the feelings that they share for one another.
The more time Matt and Charlotte spend together the more they begin to steal touches, glances, moments, and nights away. But while their connection may be undeniable the more time Charlotte and Matt spend together the more dangerous it is for her heart and his chances at winning the presidency.
I found Mr. President to be a good book not a great book but a good one. There were some times where this book held my attention but there were also other times where I felt as though things were dragging on a bit. Overall I would recommend reading this book and I do have to say that I am waiting to find out what happens next for Charlotte and Matt.
