The Storm By: Samantha Towle

(N) Jake Wether's life is just where he wants it to be, he's married to the woman that he's always loved and together they have three beautiful children. His band The Mighty Storm are still going strong and his label is doing better than ever. Jake has everything in his life that he never thought that he would have and one that he didn't think that he deserved. But his life wasn't always this perfect, the sudden and unexpected death of his best friend and band mate sent Jake spiraling. His life was once filled with drugs, alcohol, and an endless supply of women. It wasn't until Tru walked back into his life that Jake was finally able to turn his life around but now his past has caught back up with him. And what it brings is something that Jake never expected and a new challenge that he and Tru will have to face.
I enjoyed this quick novella from The Storm series and after reading this novella it gave me even more reason to love this series. While I haven't reviewed the previous books in this series I read them and recommend others read them as well and who knows maybe I will go back and review those books. The other books in the series in order are The Mighty Storm, Wethering the Storm, Taming the Storm, and finally The Storm.

A Beautiful Idea By: Emily Mckee

(N) Isabelle Clark grew up in a world of poverty and received nothing but hatred from the women who gave birth to her. But now Isabelle is finally getting the chance to leave her life behind by moving away to college. On her first day at college she literally runs into the University of Maryland's walking one-night stand.
Ryder Mitchell is every girl's dream he's a tattooed, muscled, baseball playing dream package. Ryder thought that he had the life going to school, tattooing people, and getting with any girl he wanted.
When Isabelle receives the news that her financial aid doesn't cover her room and board she has until the end of the month to come up with the $5000 she needs to stay in the dorms. But when the month is almost over and she still doesn't have the money Ryder suggests that Isabelle move in with him and take his spare room. The more time these two spend together the closer they get.
So I have had this book sitting in my kindle to be read for a while now and I finally just got around to reading it. I was surprised to realize just how much I enjoyed reading this book and found myself not wanting to put it down. This book catches your attention right from the beginning and keeps it the whole time. This is a book worth reading.

Kade's Game By: C.M. Owens

(N) This is Kade's side of the story on what happened in Hooked on the Game. Kade never understood his neighbor Raya, she never came to any of his parties and seemed to always be looking down on him and now she's living in his house. Raya now has the power to control everything that Kade does in the house all because of four frat guys that bulldozed her house and they weren't even invited to his party. This is all Kade's dad idea of a sick joke, he's punishing Kade for something that he didn't even do.
But what Kade never expected was to become intrigued with Raya. Sure he always found her attractive even when she wanted nothing to do with him but now Kade's beginning to see that there's more to Raya than he realized. Now Kade finds himself drawn to Raya and as much as he hates it he also loves it. But Raya doesn't fit in with Kade's plans, in fact she makes him forget all about his plans. Raya knocks Kade of balance every chance she gets but no matter how much he wants her Kade knows that he has to take things slow with Raya or risk losing her in the process.
While reading Hooked on the Game I fell in love with Kade and Raya so of course when I saw that this book was told from Kade's point of view I knew I had to read it. While I think that Hooked on the Game was a little better than this one this book was still just as good of a read and definitely worth reading.

Hooked On The Game By: C.M. Owens

(N) Everyone has secrets that define them, a past that has shaped the person that they are today. Despite living next door to each other Kade and Raya have never made much of an effort to get to know one another until one wild party, four frat boys and a bulldozer. Sterling Shore was supposed to be a fresh start for freshman Raya Capperton and everything was working out perfectly. That is until her roommates get expelled for a prank leaving Raya with a house she cannot afford on her own. And that's when fate intervenes.
Kade Colton has his life whole life planned out, everything he does he does for a reason, an elaborate game to aid him in the future. Raya doesn't want to like Kade after all the rich have never been good to her before. But little by little Raya's hatred towards Kade lessens and is replaced by something that she never thought that she'd feel for someone like Kade. There's just one problem Raya knows that her past could tarnish the future that Kade has worked so hard to achieve.
I loved this book and could not put it down. I found myself finishing this book in what seemed like no time at all. Then once I was done with this book and saw that the next book in the series was the story told through Kade's point of view I know I had to read it next.

Lullabye (Rockstar #6) By: Anner Mercier

(N) This is the sixth book in the Rockstar series. Lullabye is just a quick little novella in the series.
It's finally time for the Kingston triples to be born and the labor was anything but smooth sailing then again Jesse and Lucy's relationship has never been considered as smooth sailing before so why start now. As for Jesse, as long as Lucy and the babies are okay then everything else is fine.
Lullabye was a quick short novella and by the time it was over I was upset because I just wanted more. I love reading about Lucy and Jesse and although this was a short read it was still well worth it. This novella also contained A Very Xander Christmas 2, another novella from Xander's perspective.

Ballad (Rcokstar #5) By: Anne Mercier

(N) This is the fifth book in the Rockstar series. This is Ben and Nicole's story. When Ben first sees Nicole she takes his breath away and he knows that Nicole is the one for him but because she's so young Ben knows he shouldn't act of his desires. Nicole's life is only just beginning and Ben's already done his fair share of living. Ben wants a life with Nicole but knows that it's unfair to ask so much from her before she's really had a chance to life.
Nicole cannot help but stare at Ben, he's gorgeous, tall, has those intense blue eyes that she cannot look away from. Nicole hasn't had the easiest life growing up. And it's because of that why she's had to grow up much faster than others her own age. It's for this reason why Nicole doesn't mind the age difference between her and Ben. But it does matter to Ben and no matter the attraction these two feel for one another as long as Ben won't act on his feelings neither will truly be happy.
It seems like I have been waiting forever for this book to come out. And then when I finally did get this book I had to wait until I had enough free time where I could give this book my undivided attention because of how much I love this series. While this book wasn't the best one in the series (my heart is still for Lucy and Jesse's story) I still manged to finished this book in no time at all. It had seemed like I just started reading the book and then next thing I know it was over. If my last reviews from the books in this series hasn't gotten you wanting to read this series yet then you really need to start.

Sweet for Her By: Harper Ashe

(N) Crystal Jenkins loves baking and works in the Blake Foods gourmet desserts department. While her job doesn't really pay much Crystal dreams of running her own bakery and knows that this job is just a step in the right direction. Up until this point the only love in her love was sweets but all that changed when Crystal met the handsome and mysterious Grey is Las Vegas and he swept off her feet.
Billionaire Greyson Hughes wasn't interesting in settling down, as the CEO of Hughes Hotel his main priority was helping his brothers run the family business. Grey wasn't interested in starting anything with any women that is until his eye catches the beautiful Crystal over the security cameras. From that first sight Crystal has sparked a fire inside Grey something that no women was ever done before.
Crystal finds herself falling for Grey even when she knows that she shouldn't. Grey not one for letting things go feels the attraction between him and Crystal and knows that she feels it too and is not willing to let it all slip away.
So this is apparently book three in the series but not one for reading things in order when I don't have to I just read this book first. And this book was just a short okay read there was nothing really special about it. But this book actually was a two in one after Sweet for Her was finished the book contained another book in the series Sweet for Him. Sweet for Him was another okay book and it helped in my decision to not read the first book in this series.

Summer Beach Vets: Playing Santa By: H.Y. Hanna

(N) Holly lands a dream vacation house sitting in Australia for a couple she helped out a few months before. On her first full day in Australia Holly finds a litter of abandoned puppies close to the house and immediately tries to get them help. While at the veterinarian's office Holly meets the handsome Australian veterinarian Dr. Nick Forrester.
Nick never expected to meet the beautiful American Holly while covering for his friends at the vet office out on holiday. Nick cannot help but get the beautiful American who fought to get those puppies help out of his mind. He knows that the two are supposed to be together and it leads to him trying to convince Holly to stay in Australia instead of going back to the States once her job as house sitter is over. But vicious gossip and a change in culture risk coming between these two and Holly begins to be unsure if her and Nick should really be together.
This was a cute quick story. While there was nothing really to write home about with this one it was definitely a cute story to read.

Strangely Normal By: Tess Oliver

(N) Eden Saxon lands a unique summer job after finishing from high school. Eden will be living in a lifestyle that is completely different than the one that she has been used to. Eden will become a companion to nineteen year old Finley King, the daughter of a rock legend. Finley suffers from severe anxiety, she hasn't left the house in a long time and also hasn't fully walked on the house property in just as long. Finley's father fears leaving Finley alone so he hires a summer companion for her. Eden has to leave her loving dysfunctional family and enters a world where luxury is everything. From their first meet Finley and Eden click and become fast friends and soon begins to realize that maybe this job won't be as bad as she thought that it would be. There was just one flaw to this whole thing and that's Finley's older brother Jude. Jude is cocky, arrogant and irritating and he make is obvious from the start that he doesn't believe that Eden can handle the job. And as much as Eden doesn't want to like Jude she also cannot help but find him irresistible.
Just when things are really starting to look up for Eden she realizes that she has underestimated the depth of Finley's problems and suddenly her job seems to be more than she ever expected. Soon Eden finds herself over her head.
So I absolutely love this book and have read it multiple times since I got it. Since I have read this book so many times and I haven't done a review for it yet I decided to do one. As I said I have read this multiple times so it kind of goes without saying that you should read this book.

A Fighter's Desire Part Two By: L.P. Dover

(N) This is the second novella in the Gloves Off series. Gabriella Reynolds is the younger sister of MMA's Heavyweight Champion Matt Reynolds. Matt has warned all fighters to stay away from his sister and has warned his sister to stay away from all the fighter's that they'll only break her heart. Because Gabriella has been told to stay away from the fightersa it only drives her more to go after what she cannot have.
For a while Gabriella listened to her brother and just remained friends with the fighters but she could only go so long just being friends with the fighters before she starts to get interested in one of them. And that time has come and Gabriella is interested in a certain fighter but there's one problem, he's her brother's best friend. Tyler Rushing is attracted to Gabriella but he's afraid that she'll want more and that's not something that he can giver her. But when Tyler finds out that that isn't the case, that Gabriella doesn't want more then all bets are off. But because of each of their relationships with Matt Gabriella and Tyler have to keep their relationship a secret and it's a secret that they'll have to keep forever.
After reading this second novella in the series I have a better understanding of how I feel about this series. And I have to say that this novella didn't make me anymore want to read the rest of the series than when I finished reading the last novella. And I even went as far as reading samples for the next few books and that didn't peak my interests either. So suffice to say I will not be reading this series.

Play By: Holly S. Roberts

(N) Killian MacGregor is the hottest quarterback in the NFL, and a guy that every girl wants.
Rebecca Cavanaugh is a long distance runner for her college state team. Rebecca's not much of a partier but she ends up getting roped into going to one with her older sister as the designated driver.
While attending the party Killian cannot take his eyes off of a perfect pair of legs and spends the next hour watching and tracking the women throughout the party. Killian watches her from a distance that is until he sees one of his teammates get a little too rough with Rebecca and then he makes his presence known.
Rebecca not one for parties hides in the kitchen for most of it not wanting in on the athletic sex fest and she was doing great at hinding that was until a drunken football player forces Rebecca to her knees and waves his member in her face. Before Rebecca can try and get herself out of the current situation an unknown hero comes in and saves her. When Killian helps Rebecca off of the floor she's stunned when she turns to her hero and sees the sexiest man she's ever seen before.
It takes them time for the two to get together but when they do they both cannot seem to keep their hands off of each other. But while they may not be able to keep their hands off of each other it is not enough to stop the past demons that these two have.
So at first while reading this I wasn't that into the book but kept reading mostly because I just wanted to see how the story ends and I'm glad that I did continue reading. This book turned out to be really good to the point where I could not put it down. Play is something that I will not only read again but now want to continue on and read the next book in the series.

His Proposed Deal By: Sandi Lynn

(N) At twenty-four Emma Knight is moving from Miami to New York to pursue her dream of attending Parsons School of Design. Emma was all packed up and already on her way to New York when she receives an email from Parsons, Emma's financial aid had been declined and now Emma is in New York and has just a few days to come up with the money for the fall semester or else she could kiss her dream of going to Parsons goodbye.
Max Hamilton is a twenty-five year old rich playboy who has been groomed since birth to take over the family business, Hamilton Securities. Max needs Emma's help and proposes a deal, she poses at his fiancee for the next three months until his twenty-sixth birthday so he can receive his trust fund and in return he'll help Emma achieve her dream.
It was supposed to be a win-win situation. They both just had to pretend for three months and after it was over they would go their separate ways each getting what they wanted. But what neither of them expected was for feelings to get in the way. Emma never wanted to fall for Max but she did and now Max cannot find out about it.
I loved this book and managed to finish the whole thing in one sitting. I really do enjoy reading books by Sandi Lynn, she makes these 300 page books go by in no time at all. One minute you're reading the first couple of chapters and the next you only have a few more chapters left. If you haven't read this book or other books by this author then I suggest that you do.

A Fighter's Desire By: L.P. Dover

(N) This book is just a quick novella from A Gloves Off series. It's common knowledge in the MMA world that identical twin fighters Ryley and Camden Jameson are just as aggressive and passionate in bed as they are in the ring. It is also well known that given the chance a girl could get the honor of spending the night with both Jameson brothers. There's just one catch, you have to pass the first test on the first night in order to go onto the next round. Ryley and Camden could have any girl of their choosing with no argument that is until they meet Ashleigh Warren.
Ashleigh was far warned what was going to happen when she finally met the twins. Ryley and Camden approached her with a proposition and needless to say she didn't take it surprising them both. So Ryley and Camden come up with a new proposition she first gets to spend the night with each of them and she has to make it as long as they do. It's a proposition that Ashleigh can't refuse and one she knows that she'll enjoy.
I liked reading this book and finished it in no time at all.  There's nothing really negative to say about this book except that online it said that the book was about 250 pages but actually ended at only 180 pages and the rest of the book was just a sneak book for another book. While this was a good book I'm not really sure about reading the other books in the series just yet.

Then while at a party she discovers that her this guy is engaged and upset with what she discovers she leaves the party, that's when Rachel meets Landon. Landon is the most attractive man that Rachel has ever laid eyes on and for some reason he thinks that she's a hooker. So Rachel doesn't see the harm in letting him think that after all it's just for one night and after that she'll never see him again.
Landon has no desire to be in a committed relationship so his brother decides to give him a hooker for Landon's birthday going against Landon's wishes. Landon has never sought out a hooker before but when she's standing right in front of him he's more than willing to go along with it.
It should have been easy, just a one night thing but Landon cannot seem to get the hooker from his birthday out of his head and does what he can to find out who she really is when he discovers that his brother never sent her to him. When he finally does see her again Rachel wants nothing to do with him and Landon cannot have that. However being the billionaire owner of the Swanson Court Hotels has its advantages and Landon will use whatever resource he can to get what he wants and he wants Rachel.
This was just an okay story. There was nothing really special about this book and while there's more to this story I will not be coming on. All and all I say that this book is worth skipping over.

Saving the CEO By: Jenny Holiday

(N) Jack Winter is a real estate mogul and has made it his mission in life to live through a set of rules, a lot of rules. These rules have helped him build the empire that he has today. And one of his most important rules, don't sleep with your employees.

Soon they strike a deal, Cassie helps Jack with a merger and he'll pay her a large amount of money that she could really use.       I enjoyed reading this book, it was a quick read and enjoyable read. If you like quick reads I say give this book a try.

(N) This is book one in the Alabama Summer series. Mia Corelli is returning to spend the summer in Alabama with her childhood friend Tessa. Mia cannot wait to spend the summer back in Alabama and with her best friend, there is just one person who she does not want to see and that's Benjamin Kelly, Tessa's older brother. Ben is the bane of Mia's existence, he made Mia's life a living hell growing up. Mia hates Ben with everything she is, and has no desire to see him at all while she is in Alabama.
Mia decides to start her summer off with a bang, she wants to lose her virginity before spending the summer in Alabama. Mia is sick and tired of being a virgin and finally wants to have sex. Unbeknownst to Mia when she walks into the bar and hands over her virginity to the first guy who buys her a drink it turns out to be the last person she ever expected him to be. Mia learns a very valuable lesson the next day, always get the name of the guy you're about to sleep with.
Ben cannot get the girl he spent the night with out of his head. When she leaves the next morning he thinks that he'll never see her again. That is until he sees her the next day laying by the pool next to his sister. Ben is now aware that it was Mia who he spent the night with and who he now cannot get out of his head.
Mia is determined to hate Ben for all that he did to her growing up but she still cannot seem to stop thinking about him. Ben is determined to prove to Mia that he's not the same guy that he was back then, that he's a changed man, a different man.
I could not put this book down, and managed to finish it in no time at all. This was another book that had me staying up later than I wanted to because I had to see how it ended. This is a book I would definitely recommend giving a try and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

Waiting For Us By: Dawn Stanton

(N) Hailey has been in love with Cory Marshall, her brother's best friends since she was a teenager. Cory is a player and a notorious heart breaker but Hailey cannot help but have feelings for him. But it's not until she's older when Hailey learns that maybe her feelings are not totally one sided. But Cory being the ladies man that he is is not something that Hailey can handle.
Marcus O'Connor,  he's been Hailey's best friends for as long as she could remember. He's everything you could possibly want in a friend, he's loyal and compassionate, and over time Hailey begins to realize just how good looking Marcus really is. Hailey and Marcus have spent every summer together for years and Marcus has always been there for Hailey to help pick up the pieces left behind by her broken heart. He knows all her secrets and she knows all of his, well almost all. Marcus has been in love with Hailey for years and she has absolutely no idea.
Marcus and Cory are two guys that have been in Hailey's life forever and have both impacted her life in one way or another. Hailey has these two guys in her life who both love her and she loves them right back. But making the decision of who to choose is a decision that she isn't sure she can make.
This was another book that started on the right track but began to lag about halfway through. One of the things was it was just skip over time every few chapters. Like every few chapters it would be something like May 2015, August 2015, December 2015, etc. Besides that I couldn't get into the book for a few reasons one it was first just being told just through Hailey's point of view then switched a good portion of the way through to also giving the points of view for Cory and Marcus. Also there just seems to be fill in chapters till the next big thing happened. All in all I just could not get into this book and would not recommend reading.

Prince Albert By: Sabrina Pagie

(N) Isabella (Belle) Kensington has been in Africa for the past two years helping those in need but when she comes home she finds out her fiance had been cheating on her the whole time that she has been gone. After Belle learns about her fiance's infidelity she breaks off the wedding and heads to Las Vegas. There Belle runs into Albie and the two have an instant connection and by the end of the night the two end up getting married. The next morning Belle leaves without saying anything to Albie. But the two see each other soon enough when Belle flies off to Protrovia at her mother's request. There she finds out her mother is marrying the king and his son is Prince Albert is Belle's new husband.
I enjoyed reading this book and I actually got Sabrina Pagie's Tool included with this purchase which I didn't know about until I finished the book at only like 60% through. So it was actually a good deal I got two book for one. But besides the fact that this would be a good purchase, 2 books in 1 this was actually a good enjoyable read. And a book I would recommend others give a try.

Sing Your Heart Out By: Crystal Kaswell

(N) Meg Smart is 21 years old and still a virgin. Meg walks the straight and marrow path, all of her focus is on studying and doing well enough to get into Med school. Meg avoids any kind of trouble that includes drinking, doing drugs, and especially boys. She doesn't have anytime time for boys let alone even want a boyfriend.
Miles Webb is a rock star and he doesn't do being someone's 'boyfriend.' He doesn't do relationships or anything complicated, he skips over all that and is more in favor of just an easy distraction. A beautiful women screaming out his name during sex and then not having to deal with her again unless it has to do with more sex.
Meg is drawn to Mikes before she even meets him, well she's more along the lines drawn to the pain she hears in his voice when he sings. But when she finally meets Miles at a mutual friend's party after having walked in on him with another woman the man she meets is nothing like the man whose songs she listens to. Miles loves nothing more than to tease Meg and to make her blush and by the end of the night he is offering her a night that she will never forget.
Neither Meg or Miles want to start a relationship let alone be in one but there's no denying the attraction that these two feel for one another. So they come with an arrangement, a friends with benefits arrangement, nothing more and nothing less. The only rules they have are no secrets, no lying, and no feelings for one another, and if at any time one does develop feels for the other they must immediately tell them and the arrangement is over. Only the more time they spend together the harder these rules are to follow.
This book started out on the right foot but after a while I started to lose interest in the book. It just seemed to be much of the same thing over and over again and by the end of it I was just ready for the book to be over. Needless to say I will not be reading this book again or continuing on with the next book in this series.

Knockout By: Tracey Ward

(N)  Kellen Coulter is a boxer from the wrong side of the tracks, he's worked his way through many girls with his good looks and great smile. Kellen doesn't let anyone get close to him, he doesn't let anyone in, and he tells his secrets to no one. No one that is except for Jenna Monroe. Jenna is the only one who has ever seen the the real Kellen Coulter. The two met when Kellen was eighteen and Jenna was thirteen when Jenna's father an attorney took Kellen under his wing after Kellen was charged with assault. Jenna's father saw something in Kellen and believed that he could help Kellen stay out of trouble.
Kellen begins to spend more and more time at Jenna's house, he begins to stay out of trouble and with the more time he spends at the Monroe household he also begins to spend time with Jenna. The two hit it off right away, Kellen tutors Jenna in her classes and Jenna is there as an ear for Kellen. But when Kellen starts dating Lacey Jenna's older sister Jenna feels hurt every time she sees the two of them together.
So this book is the first book in a North Star series, and while most of this book was actually quite enjoyable I will not be continuing on with this story. And that is because I really do not see the need for two more books it seemed that if this book was just a few chapters longer it could have just ended with this one and I do really see the need to continue on. Besides that most of this book was really good that was up until the last few chapters cause then it just seemed to be a little bit too much but besides that this was a good read.

This is yet another book I have read by this author in this series and yet again I could not put this book down. Although this book was a little slow to start off with it soon picked up pace and soon I could not put it down and found myself finishing the booking in no time at all. If you haven't started reading this series yet I would suggest starting it. The series does not necessarily have to be read in order but it does help to read them in order when the books makes references to things that happened in the previous books in the series.

Until Friday Night By: Abbi Glines

(N) This is the first book in a brand new series by Abbi Glines. To everyone around him West Ashby is that guy: the cocky, popular, handsome football god who could have anyone he wanted. But while he puts on this facade of the Big Man on Campus West is really dealing with something serious that is tearing him up inside. West is having to watch his father slowly die from cancer all the while keeping it a secret from everyone around them.
Two years ago Maggie Carleton's life forever changed after her father murdered her mother. Now after telling the police what she witnessed that night she has stopped speaking and hasn't spoken since then. Maggie has stayed quiet all this time keeping her sorrows to herself and hiding away from the rest of the world.
As West's pain becomes to much for him to handle and knows that he needs someone to confide in he opens up to the one person he knows won't say anything to anyone. West expects that talking about his dad will help bring some relief to him what he doesn't expect is the quiet girl to talk back to him or to start telling him about her own sorrows. The two begin to grow closer and form a connection over their mutual grief something that no one else around them can even begin to understand.
I've read a few books by this author before and there seems to be a pattern with these books being either a hit or a miss with me and this book was definitely a miss for me. I just really could not get into this book. It could be because one of the main characters doesn't even talk to anyone for most of the book or at all really. Or it could just be the story line itself but either way I did not like this book at all. And is not a book that I could say is worth reading.

Trust Me By: Lacey Black

(N) Twenty-two year old Avery Steven has spent the last three years rasing her daughter alone with her family and best friend as support systems after her boyfriend wants nothing to do with her after he finds out she's pregnant. Avery has had a crush on the one man she cannot have (her older brother's best friend Maddox) for so long now.
Police officer Maddox Jackson is considered somewhat of a ladies man around town. Maddox has no plans of ever settling down he's happy with living the life as a single man. But as much of a ladies man that he is there is still one woman who he seems he cannot stay away from and has to fight the attraction he feels towards her consistently.
When the two learn that the attraction they feel towards each other isn't just one sided they begin a secret relationship to protect themselves from Avery's overprotective older brother and Maddox's best friend. Maddox and Avery both know that Avery's brother would never stand for their relationship so they feel that they much keep it a secret. But after being betrayed by someone she's trusted before and when doubts and past secrets begin to surface concerning Maddox Avery is easy to believe them.
This was yet another book that I could not put down. Although it did kind of start off slow for me it picked up rather quickly and then I was hooked. At one point I could not put this down despite the fact that I had to because it was late and I had to wait up early the next morning. This book is the first in a series and I have yet to decide if I want to continue with the series because the next books are stories about the other characters in the series. But either way this is definitely a book to read.

Sixty Five Hours By: N.R Walker

(N)  Lucas Henlsey is an out and smart proud gay man. He loves advertising and knows that he is good at it. Lucas makes it clear when he gets hired at the company that he is gay and would has no problem leaving if anyone has a problem with it. From the start Cameron has had a problem with Lucas and Lucas has no idea why. Lucas decides to be indifferent to Cameron and his unfriendliness but all the while Lucas is secretly attracted to Cameron.
Cameron Fletcher is brilliant, tall, dark, handsome and has all the girls wanting to be with him. He's also the younger son of his boss (the CEO of the company). Cameron is also gay but keeps that close to his chest presenting himself to be straight to all those around him because he thinks that that is what they expect from him. Cameron puts on a mask every time he lives his home and is terrified of coming out to his parents for fear of disappointing them. Cameron resents Lucas for being able to be himself while he's stays in the closet.
Cameron and Lucas are the best the company has to offer they just happen to not get along with each other. But when the CEO announces that they only have sixty-five hours to develop an advertising campaign for a hopeful new client. Cameron and Lucas are forced to put asides their differences and work together to develop the best campaign they possibly can. Having to work so closely together in a short amount of time leads a lot of bickering but as time goes on the feud between the two begins to fade and the two really begin to see each other for who they really are. With the more hours that pass more of their walls begin to come down and the two begin to feel a mutual attraction for one another. As much as Lucas wants to be with Cameron he is forced to reject Cameron's advances given the circumstances around it. Lucas knows that he wants more than just a quickie with Cameron, he wants to do it right.
I loved this book and just could not put it down. This book is a free read and I recommend people give it a read you won't be disappointed.

Lust By: Maya Love

(N) Lacey has lusted over her stepbrother Ethan for years and has finally decided to make her move. Austin is Ethan's twin brother and ever since he saw a picture of Lacey online all her wants to do is get her in bed. But Austin knows that Lacey has only ever had eyes for his brother not to mention that being his stepsister makes her completely off limits. That being said Austin always gets what he wants and he wants Lacey. And the way to get to Lacey is to switch places with his brother and pretend to be Ethan. What was supposed to be just a one time hookup changes when Austin doesn't want to let her go and won't no matter what it takes.
Okay so I have a few complaints about this book. One of the major complaints that I have with this book is the fact that the author is not consistent with the names of one of her main characters. The author keeps changing Austin's name back and forth between Austin and Nathan. I mean it's pretty easy to figure out that when she mentions Nathan that she is really talking about Austin. But the point of it is how is anyone supposed to pay attention to the story line when the author herself cannot keep track and keeps calling people by different names and she keeps changing his name of the same page.
Now that I complained about one brother I'm going to now start complaining about the other. I could not understand how no one (besides his twin brother Austin) seemed to notice just how much of a womanizer Ethan was. All Ethan cared about was getting laid no matter who she was, no woman as long as she was attractive was off limits to him. Ethan was cruel and harsh in the way that he talked to these women that he hooked up with and they just took it and kept coming back of more and I just could not deal with any of that.
My last complaint that I have is the way that this book ended. It ended when I was only 60% through the book with the words: NEXT PART COMING SOON. Nowhere in the description of the story did it say that this would be a story told in multiple parts so be warned going into this that there is more than just this one book to the story.
All and all suffice to say I will not continuing on with this series. And I do not think that this book is really worth reading there was nothing to this story that made me either want to read this book again or want to continue on to find out what happened next.

Just Dessert By: Kelly Collins

(N) Katarina Cross is living a simple life, she is going to school and trying to find a job. Everything has been going on track that is until she decides to help out her friend and roommate who runs her own escort service by covering for her and being Damon Noble's escort for the night. Katarina is not the type of girl who could accept money after a date and when she refuses to continue that kind of relationship with Damon it only makes him want her more. The two start off as friends but with the connection these two feel for each other it is only a matter of time before they begin to give into those feelings. But while Katarina goes into this relationship with her heart on the line Damon holds back due to the fact that his last relationship ended so badly.
This was another yet book that I enjoyed reading right from the beginning and just could not put it down. While this is the first book in a series I will not be continuing with the series because from the samples given I did not like the next two books in the series. Saying that I still recommend giving this book a read.

Seducing My Billionaire Stepbrother By: Alexis Adaire

(N) Seducing My Billionaire Stepbrother contains all three books in the trilogy. Adopted siblings Jared and Ashley have lived in the same house their whole lives and not once growing up did Ashley think of stepbrother in any way but as an older brother. All that changed the day she accidentally saw Jared naked body in the kitchen and now Ashley cannot seemed to get it out of her mind. Ashley knows that she shouldn't have these kinds of thoughts about her brother after all they grew up together, it's too forbidden and taboo but still she cannot help but want him. Ashley wants to make a move on Jared but there is just one thing standing in her way, Jared's bitch of a fiancee Heather. But Ashley intends to get with Jared at least once before he gets married and the way to do that is to crash Jared's raunchy bachelor party wearing a mask and then seduce him. But one time cannot seem to be enough for these two who want to be together but have so much standing in their way of happiness.
I enjoyed this quick read, I could not put this book down and was a little disappointed when it was over. I really don't have anything negative to say about this book besides the fact that it was a quick read.

Naked Choke By: Celia Loren

(N) On her eighteenth birthday Caitlyn finally meets her mom's boyfriend sons and from there things just get complicated. Right from the start Caitlyn finds herself attracted to both of her new stepbrothers. When Caitlyn learns that she and her mom will be moving into her mom's boyfriend's house Caitlyn realizes that she will have to live under the same roof as Austin and Logan Riggens.
Austin and Logan are both older than Caitlyn, and they're both MMA fighters but that's where the comparisons between the two end. Austin is confident and a known lady's man while Logan is more quiet and sensitive and doesn't show his emotions and speak his thoughts to just anyone. Logan is looked at more as the 'spare' to his father while it is Austin who gets all of the attention from their father/MMA coach.
Austin lets it be known right away that he is attracted to Caitlyn and asks her out on a date and their relationship goes from nonexistent to physical really fast. Caitlyn and Logan's relationship is something completely different Logan starts out with making Caitlyn really think about her future and life where up until this point Caitlyn was fine with her mother planning her future for her. Austin and Logan have opened Caitlyn's eyes and made her more aware of her life.
I loved reading this book and it went by so fast. It seemed like I had just started reading this book when I looked down and saw that I was a little less than half way done and the next thing I knew the book was almost over. This book is an MMA book and in the past they haven't been my favorite books to read but I really enjoyed reading this one and I would definitely recommend that others read this book as well.

Henry By: Andria Large

(N) Henry Beck is the gorgeous CEO of an advertising company and he is in need of a new personal assistant. Henry expected HR to hire some older, more experienced, gentlemen but what he got instead was a young, beautiful single mother who he is having a trouble trying not to stay attracted to.
Clarie Russel is a working single-mother the last thing she ever expected was for her new boss to be the most gorgeous man that she had ever laid eyes on. Claire also never expected him to be as good to her two year old son Ethan or for Ethan to take to her boss so quickly. But Claire knows that Henry is just her boss and there's no way that the two could ever have a future together.
But as the two grow closer it becomes increasingly hard for them to avoid the obvious attraction that they feel for one another. But just when things seem to be on the verge of changing Henry's overbearing mother lets it be known what she really thinks of Claire and a freak accident occurs leading to both Henry and Claire changing their perspectives on things.
Henry is the first book in the Beck Brothers series. I enjoyed reading Henry and seemed to finished the book in no time at all. But will I be continuing on with this series I don't really think so the other brothers didn't seem to catch my attention so much that I would want to read their stories and the samples I read of their books didn't do that either. So while I probably won't be continuing on with this series I still say give Henry a try you will not be disappointed.

The Longest Ride By: Nicholas Sparks

(N) For those of you who have not yet read The Longest Ride or seen the movie this story is about two love stories one which took place in the past and the other that is happening in the present. Ira Levinson is an ninety-one year old old man who finds himself in trouble after getting into a car accident and is stranded on the side of the road. Throughout the story Ira is struggling to stay conscious and begins to imagine his late beloved wife Ruth, beside him. As a way to get him to stay awake Ruth begins to recount stories from their life together all the way from when they met to until her untimely death. Ira knows that Ruth isn't in the car with him but he holds on to just the though of her being beside him.
Meanwhile a few miles away at a local bull riding event college senior Sophia Danko meets a young bull riding cowboy named Luke, who is unlike any of the privileged frat boys she knows at her school. It is through Luke that Sophia is introduced to this whole new world different than the life that she is used to. The more time Sophia spends with Luke the more she sees herself falling for him and thinking about a future with Luke instead of the the one she had planned for herself.
Ira and Ruth and Sophia and Luke are two couples who have little in common. These relationship are separated by length of time together and the different challenges they face. But what they do have is a love worth fighting for and trying to overcome all of the challenges that they may face.
So I might not be the best person to judge this book this time around just because of the fact that I did see the movie before reading this book. Normally I am fine with watching a movie or television show and then reading the book it was based on but that was not the case here. I found the movie to be so much better than the book while my friend who recommended that I read the book found the book more interesting and this may be because she read the book before seeing the movie.
Another problem that I had with this book had to do with the fact that although I am fine with reading books where each chapter is a different narrator this one got to me. While from Ira's point of view everything was I and me, when it was Sophia or Luke's point of view these were told in third person writing he/she or Luke/Sophie. This made things confusing when about halfway through a chapter you would forget who was telling the story and there really was no way of finding out until a good while later.
With that being said I would say either read the book or watch the movie and if you decided to do both then be prepared. You won't be satisfied, whichever comes first either reading the book or watching the movie will probably be the one you enjoy more.

Fallen Crest University By: Tijan

(N) Another hit for Tijan and the Fallen Crest series. In Fallen Crest University the fearsome foursome are back together and all going to the same school. But things aren't all good Park Sebastian is out for blood. Sebastian wants Mason to pay for burning down his fraternity house (although Mason was never proven to be the one who did it) and the only way to get to Mason is to go through to the one thing that can hurt him Sam. Mason knows Sebastian is planning on going after Sam and he will do everything he can to make sure that that doesn't happen.
Logan and Sam know that the chance of Mason going to the NFL could be right around the corner and now Mason cannot get caught doing anything illegal because it could ruin his chances of getting into professional football so Logan and Sam decide that it is now time for them to be the ones to protect Mason. Sam doesn't care that she is Sebastian's target she will do whatever she can to protect Mason even if that means lying to him. But when Sebastian goes too far one too many times the fearsome foursome will need to come together to find a way to take down Park Sebastian once and for all.
This is yet another Fallen Crest book that I loved. I do have to admit that while there was some parts that were a bit slow in this book it was overall a good book. I am glad that Tijan is continuing on with this series for two more books because I just cannot get enough of these characters. If by now you haven't started reading this series then I seriously advise you to do so.

Love, Technically By: Lynne Silver

(N) Michelle Kolson is a small town girl who is now working in Chicago at a cutting-edge tech company. Then in comes Sark her hero and rescuer and fixes Michelle's problem for her. From there the two begin an office romance that is until Michelle's job lands on the chopping blocks and Michelle has no idea what she is going to do.
Noah Frellish aka Sark is the CEO of Chicago's hottest tech company and is fed up with the world seeing him just for his money and that especially includes those in the romance department. So when he goes to help an employee with printer problems and she mistakes him as a help desk technician Noah cannot help but go along with it. Michelle is the first women he's met in a long time who wants nothing to do with his money and he doesn't want to change that.
It's not long before things go wrong and Michelle learns that the guy she has fallen head over heels for the guy that she thought was just a help desk technician is actually the owner of the company she works for. Michelle doesn't know if she can handle a relationship with Noah and Noah will have to prove to her that he is still the tech nerd that she fell for that first day that they met.
Love, Technically is a quick and enjoyable read. I managed to finish this book in no time at all and it was the correct length not too long and no too short. There was enough to enjoy with this book without it being too much and going off in the direction of becoming boring. And it is for that reason that I would recommend people read this book.

Winning Her Love By: Hazel Gower

(N) Chad Douglas has been in love with his younger sister's best friend for years but has always kept his feelings a secret from everyone including her. Chad has always kept his distance from Lana because of their age difference and his rising career in playing professional rugby. However after one drunken night at a party Chad gives into his feelings for Lana and thinks that there might finally be chance for the two of them only for everything to comes crushing down when Lana is gone the next morning.
Lana Cage has been living in England for the past three years and is now moving back home to Australia. The night before she left for England is a big blank to her Lana doesn't remember anything that happened that night all she remembers is waking up the next morning in bed alone and naked.
I enjoyed reading this book although it wasn't what I thought it was going to be based on the sample I read but it was still an enjoyable read. While I think that is a book worth reading I don't think that it is worth as much as I paid for it. Therefore I suggest just waiting for the price to do down before buying this book but if you still want to read this book that badly then go ahead and give it a shot.

Weak Without Him By: Lyra Parish

 (N) Jennifer is finally with Finnley or at least she thinks she is, that is until Finnley tells her that they can only be together in private not in public, she's his little secret. Not willingly to be with Finnley just in secret Jennifer leaves him only to have Finnley coming back to her. Turns out Finnley does feel something for Jennifer he just doesn't show it right away. But when a misunderstanding leads Jennifer turning to the last person Finnley wants he does everything he can to get her back.
Just when things are starting to go right for Jennifer and Finnley it's only long before things go bad when soon Jennifer begins fighting for her life. Soon Jennifer is fighting to stay alive, fighting for love and hoping for the day she gets saved.
I had previously wrote that I loved the first book in this series but was seriously disappointed after reading this book. Now I'm not sure how I feel about this series anymore. It seemed like at a little after the halfway point there just seemed to be so much going on all at once. Also what was going on during this story was so different in context as to what went on during the first book in the series. Weak Without Him seemed to just be like it's own story in a way instead of a continuation of Weak for Him and I'm not sure that I liked it.
After reading this book I really don't know if I want to continue on with this series. But if you decide that you want to read this series just be prepared for the second book in this series to be very different from the first book.

Stephan (Caveman Instinct #1) By: Hazel Gower

(N) This is the first book in the Caveman Instinct series. Stephan Silverman always thought his family was cursed, centuries ago his family helped gypsies and as a reward the Silvermans were given the gift of prosperity and the ability to know when they meet their soul mate. To most people in Stephan's family they see this as a gift but not Stephan because what no one tell you is that when you meet your soulmate you turn into a complete caveman.
Stephan never wanted to meet his soul mate, never wanted this gift that his family members want so badly. He was just happy with his privileged life, having a new woman every night and having no woman every saying no to her. Stephan had his whole life planned out just the way he wanted it, that is until Jade Black came into town and changes everything. Stephan knew the moment that he laid eyes on Jade that she was his soul mate. There was just one problem he was having trouble convincing Jade of that.
Jade is just a few months away from her eighteenth birthday and finally get the chance to be free and have the ability to have a say in her own life. Jade cannot wait until she can graduate from high school and get into a university where she can get a degree in child care. Jade wants to be able to live the life she always dreamed of and not the crappy life that she was given. She was so close to this dream that is until her mother died and because she was not yet an adult had to chose between being put into the foster care system or live with the only relative she had left her deadbeat grandfather in Reed Creek. She chose to live with her grandfather and deal with him until she could graduate from high school. But life is never simple neither is high school once Jade grabs the attention of Stephan Silverman.
Before reading this book I did look at the reviews because I was not sure if I wanted to read it just yet. There were many reviews that gave this book a low rating saying that it was rushed and while I do think that at some points it did seem as though the book was rushing overall it was not nearly as bad as the reviews made it seem. But one issue I did have was that there was a lot of grammatical and sentence structure errors. I was able to figure out what the author meant but it took reading the sentences a few times to grasp it. If you are someone who does get turned off a book because of these types of errors then I suggest maybe choosing a different book to read. But if these issues don't bother you then I say give this book a try.

Emalie is determined to find out what happened to Rainer during those mysterious years that he was gone even if it mean pretending that she is okay with having just a physical relationship with Rainer.
This book was another book that I had read where some people did not give it the best reviews.  I personally did not understand what they were talking about I loved this book.  But there is something that readers should be aware of, this story does jump back and forth with then and now chapters which at times can be a little annoying. But overall this was yet another book that I just could not put down and fell in love with. Flawed Love is one of the few books that really got to me and at one point actually made me get tears in my eyes.  If you haven't read this book yet then I seriously recommend that you do.

Without any other options Jennifer agrees to come work for Finnley as one of his girls. There's just one problem Jennifer cannot think straight around Finnley and Finnley is having trouble treating Jennifer the same way as he would treat any of his other girls.
I love, loved this book. I managed to finish this book in what seemed like no time at all I just could not put it down. Going into this book I was a little unsure if I would like it or not, I downloaded the book on a whim because it was free along with some other books. After barley making it through so many other free books I was a little skeptical going into this one but this book surpassed my expectations. This book keeps your attention from beginning to end and I definitely recommend reading this book. I know that I will be continuing on with the next book in this series I can't wait to find out what happens next.

One Night Stand By: J.S. Cooper & Helen Cooper

(N) It was only supposed to be one night. Liv and Xander met at a wedding and it was only supposed to be a one night thing, a wedding hookup. When Liv sneaks out the next morning she never expects to see Mr. Miracle Tongue (what she calls Xander) again. When Liv goes home the next weekend at the request of her family she discovers Mr. Miracle Tongue is engaged to her bitch of a sister Gabby.
From there the story goes on a roller coaster ride as Liv tries to stay away from Xander and Xander makes it his mission to get closer to Liv. Liv knows that she should not have feelings for her sister's fiance but she cannot help how much her body wants him. Xander doesn't give up on something when he wants it and he wants Liv. Every chance Xander gets he tries to explain to Liv that he is only engaged to Gabby as a business arrangement but Liv doesn't want to hear this. Through this up and down dilemma Liv finds out Gabby's secret which although isn't her secret to tell it cannot help but make Liv feel just a bit better about the whole situation, but not enough to still sneak around with Xander.
I have been wanting to read this book for months now and I have finally gotten around to reading it. And I have to say that while I did enjoy reading this book it was not enough to be like 'I should have read this sooner' but enough to definitely want to read this book again.

Trust in Advertising By: Victoria Michaels

(N) I have actually read this book before but because I never posted about it I thought that I would now. In Trust In Advertising Lexi White found herself at a crossroads during her second year of college. Her father was diagnose with Alzheimer's and so Lexi decided to drop out of college so that she could take care of her father. Now years later Lexi is finally ready to start living her life again. When she is offered a new and exciting job Lexi comes face to face with someone from her past who still after all these years has the power to make her heart stop just by looking at her.
But Lexi isn't the same girl that she once was. This time around she is more confident with herself and refuses to let her dream slip from her again even if it means having to work side by side with her high school crush. There's just one problem he doesn't seem to even remember Lexi from high school, but now he cannot help but take notice to his new assistant, a woman who isn't afraid of standing up to him and telling him like it is. It quickly become obvious to everyone around that Lexi has changed her boss for the better he is now the same funny loving guy he once was in high school and not the guy who everyone is afraid of.
Having learned from past experience that not everyone can be trusted Vincent is reluctant to let his guard down around Lexi. This only becomes worse when it appears someone is sabotaging his family's advertising company. The more time the two spend together the more sparks begin to fly between Vincent and Lexi but lies and jealousy could stand between the two.
When I first read this book I wasn't sure how I felt about this book but reading it again I have to say that I really did enjoy this book. This book is definitely a book that I would recommend anyone to read.

Grace finds herself falling for Logan but when her past threatens to ruin the life she 's made for herself Grace doesn't know if she can handle it all.
I really enjoyed this book I could not put it down. The first day I read this book I could not put it down and kept reading chapter after chapter even after I kept telling myself only one more chapter cause I needed to go to bed. Towards the end it did kind of slow down a bit but overall this book was reading enjoyable. What was interesting was in the last chapter it was told through several people's perspectives and we got to see where everyone is from their perspective. Since this is the last book in the series it was a nice little ending to have. If by now you haven't read the On Dublin Street series I seriously recommend that you give it a try.

Shifter Mates (Shifters Unbound #4.6 & 5.5) By: Jennifer Ashley

(N) Shifter Mates is a combination of two Shifters Unbound novellas Lone Wolf and Feral Heat.
In Lone Wolf, Ellison Rowe is a wolf shifter and a cowboy. He is also searching for that one person who could cure him of his loneliness. Maria is a human who lives in Shiftertown. Maria took refuge in Shiftertown trying to move on from her haunted past. She was once held captive my feral shifters forced to live in cages along with other female shifters until she was finally freed. When Ellison and Maria meet right away Ellison feels a connection to Maria but because of her past he knows he has to approach her with caution. But there are things are work that make any process between the two need to be put on hold someone is trying to steal the young cubs of Shiftertown and Ellison and Maria along with the leaders of Shiftertown have to figure out who is behind these kidnapping before any much cubs almost taken.
In Feral Heat, Jace Warden is visiting from another Shiftertown to help Liam and his family attempt to remove the collars off all shifters without the shifters going feral. Just hours after arriving at Shiftertown Jace runs into the beautiful and courageous Deni. From the beginning Deni and Jace  feel the mate bond forming between them. But both have their own troubles the pair need to work through that will test their bond before it is even fully developed. Jace is feeling the affects of trying to remove his collar and Deni is still feeling the affects from when she was hit by a car.
It was nice to read these two novellas in one book. But I just think that the full stories themselves are better than the novellas. This may just be because the novellas are smaller and have less depth to them because of it. But whatever the reason I find the full stories better but these were still good stories to read and worth checking out.

Pierced By: Maya Hawk

(N) Lauryn hasn't seen her step-brother Sutton in ten years. The two of them were once best friends but that all changed the day that Lauryn's father left her mother to be with Sutton's mother and depressed over this Lauryn's mother tried to commit suicide and almost succeeding had Lauryn not found her in time. Now it's ten years later and the last person Lauryn ever thought she would see again just walked in the door.
Lauryn is now a pharmaceutical rep and Sutton is a doctor but not just any kind of doctor he's one who specializes in the caring for the opposite sex. He delivery babies for a living. Underneath the white lab coat is a man filled out in muscles and covered in tattoos, a man who has girls falling at his feet to be with. But the only girl he wants, the only girl who every other girl has been measured up to is Lauryn.
Lauryn finds Sutton obnoxious, insufferable and all around bad news. She knows that she shouldn't be with him for a million reasons but now having to work with Sutton it has become impossible for Lauryn to ignore him.
I think this was another book that was just a so-so book. This story had its moments where it was both good and bad. But towards the end I was just kind of just kind of done with the whole thing and I ended up skimming through to the end. This book was just not the book for me.
