(N) Kennedy works tutoring kids as a way to help pay for her off her college tuition. When Kennedy is assigned to tutor Jackson Montgomery III to help him on his classes that he's fallen behind in she immediately knows that she is in for trouble. Jackson Montgomery is a legacy at Harvard and is the heir to a family fortune. Everyone knows who Montgomerys are. The more time Kennedy begins to spend with Jackson the more he's on her mind and the more he lets on that he wants more than just Kennedy being he tutor. As the two begin to grow closer Kennedy begins to realize that Jackson isn't who she thought he was but the two come from opposite worlds. He's the heir to a family fortune and she's the daughter of a single feminist mother who is a Professor at Harvard. After much resisting Kennedy finally gives into temptation only for everything to go south the next day.
When Kennedy's mother drops a bomb on her over lunch Kennedy learns that not only is her mother engaged but she is engaged to Jackson Montgomery II making her and Jackson Montgomery III soon to be step-siblings. Now the one guy she wants nothing to do with is the one guy she can't get away from.
I really enjoyed this story. I read the prequel before reading the entire novel and both did a great job of grabbing my attention. This would be a book that I recommend people to read. But if after reading this and you still don't think that this book is for you give the prequel a chance and then you'll know if you should continue on with the novel.
