(N) When Aubrey Callahan was just eight years old she lost two important things in a car accident: her parents and her eyesight, something that most people take for granted. Because she lost her eyesight Aubrey had to learn to experience the world around her differently than other girls her age. Even so Aubrey learned to accept the life that she had been given and over the years has learned to live life to the fullest. Growing up blind Aubrey had to learn to give up on love after one to many failed relationships ending due to the guys not being able to handle her being blind. But then she met a man who like her had experienced a tragedy but unlike Aubrey he learned to keep a part of himself from the world.
The moment Ethan Klein laid eyes on Aubrey he knew that he wanted her. Aubrey's beautiful, uncomplicated, and all he needed was one night with her. After all Ethan is a one-night kind of guy. People refer to Ethan as "The Iceman" because he's controlling, ruthless, and doesn't care about other people's feelings. But then he had one night with Aubrey, and that one night led to feelings and nightmares that Ethan had bottled up and kept hidden for years. Even though Ethan is a man who can afford the best of anything and everything the one thing he can't buy is a way to stop his past demons from resurfacing. Aubrey can't see him for the man is really is but Ethan knows that she deserves better, he just can't seem to let himself forget about her.
Sandi Lynn is slowly becoming another one of my favorite authors. While I've only read a few of her books so far each one I read I cannot put down. While reading A Beautiful Sight I just had to keep reading to find out what would happen next. This was yet another book that I finished in no time at all and one that I would recommend others give a read.
