      Brandon Kresge has it all. He's got a hot music career, a hot body and tons of adoring fans all wanting a piece of him. To the rest of the world his life is perfect but looks aren't always what they seem. Years of experience has kept Brandon skilled at hiding the truth, from the media, his friends, and even his band mates. But all of that begins to change when he meets her. She is the first person to break down every one of Brandon's walls.
      At twenty-three years old Brynn Richer has yet to figure out her life. All she wants is to dance, a decision that her mother is persistently against. Despite this and the cards stacked against her becoming a professional dancer Brynn moves to New York to pursue her passion. This one decision causes her path to cross with the sexy and troubled lead singer of Wreckless Abandon. Brynn knows that Brandon will do nothing but break her heart, and knows that she should steer clear of him but the problem is that Brynn is powerless against Brandon.
      What begins as a harmless friendship soon leads to the lines blurring between friendship and love. Soon the rules set in place to keep their friendship are stripped away and they are forced to realize there may be more to them than just friendship.
      Off Key was a surprisingly good book. I wasn't really sure what to expect from this given that the past few book samples I read I hadn't enjoyed. So when this one came around the sample got me, and from there I just could not stop reading.  And I think that this is a book that should be read.
